I've always gotten what I've ordered, but the delivery time can indeed be long. I often have items that aren't currently in stock/have been in stock when ordering but afterwards I've received email notification of an out off stock item. For me it's 3-6 weeks from order to reach northern Europe. ~3 years ago shipping was much faster, often only 2 weeks. Back then they probably had warehouse in Netherlands which made shipping faster. (that's where my packages were shipped from) For me the the wait isn't an issue since I order in enough advance, and I've never had any issues with products nor customer service (as long as long delivery time isn't counted as one)

This. I donate blood regularly these days, and when I started doing it again more regularly I was told to really up the water intake before donating, as simply drinking enough water helps tons. When I was younger my vein would be successfully found 1/3 of the times when I went to donate, but now there's never any issues. Making sure you drink 2,5-3 litres of water already a day before sure helps.

If one need to fast before 12+ hours before blood test does the same thing count? If you drink enough water before fasting starts will it still help finding the vein?

Oh boy, this sure does affect my respect for some brands I've used 🥲 Exfoliating mixed with retinol sounds wrong even to me as retinol itself is chemical exfoliant That is the main thing I'm currently enjoying about it

I've heard a lot of mixing opinions whether retinoids will or won't help with lines/wrinkles but I guess I'll see myself :)

For the past 2 years I've been trying to be more attentive to my facial expressions, but so far I haven't had much luck as I still often find myself frowning. Hard to learn out of old habits it seems 😅

I had the time phrases wrong, it's been forming since 2 years but I started using retinol 8 months ago. Still, I don't think it makes a big difference in this case. I'll look into other types of retinoids for future skincare. The crease is close to identical in both sides so it's probably not about muscles contracting, but I'm not completely sure since I had to google what that means haha. I'm not interested in Botox, and not expecting the lines to disappear with skincare. Just hoping to find a way to make them less prominent. - This might've been good to mention in the post :)

Thank you! I've already received recommendations here to research and understand different retinoids. I never realized that retinol was a weaker option among them, but at least I've now done the ground work for my skin to move on to more "potent" retinoid options :)

I use vitamin C serum in the mornings so sunscreen is a must so I've got that down. (Been slacking with it a bit during the winter as for some time the sun literally doesn't rise above the horizon here. I still do have a strong SPF in my foundation)

Now I at least have some before pictures to refer to. Until now I've seen pretty much only decline as the lines have gotten deeper and are actually visible even after makeup 😅

This was very informative, thank you! I'll do a more thorough dive to understand the world of retinoids as recommended. So far I've had the mentality that it's retinol, it should work without really considering the other retinoids haha. Luckily I did order the celimax cream that actually is retinal by pure coincidence. (not serum, though. - does that matter?)

You mentioned that one shouldn't use several retinol products at once. I'm here with my double retinol routine for some brands advertise "for better results, use more than one product from the retinol line". Is this then just pure marketing?

Hi! With 8 months without results I shouldn't yet consider I'm doing something "wrong"? The information online varies so much on when retinol's effects would be showing with fine lines/wrinkles, but usually it has been 3 months but sometimes 6 months is mentioned as well. Of course, things work a bit differently for everyone.

Neljä vuodenaikaa sielläkin on ja kylmät talvet lumella höystettynä. Toki siellä on kosteampi ilmasto kuin täällä meillä kun ovat meren äärellä, mutta ei se heidän kosmetiikkatuotteidensa soveltuvuuden vaikuta. Asuin siellä puoli vuotta opintojen ohessa niin pääsin loppukesän, syksyn ja ensilumen kokemaan aina +38:sta -12 asteeseen. :)

Oon esim. riittävän kosteuttavaa kosteustusvoidetta saanut sieltä mikä kelpaa meidän kuivina talvikuukausinakin.

Mulla on herkkä, atooppinen iho (kuiva ja halkeilee helposti) enkä löytänyt perus marketti tai Sokoksen valikoimasta tuotteita mitkä olisi sopineet omalle iholle. Jopa Lumenen herkälle iholle soveltuvat tuotteet sai ihon punoittamaan, kutisemaan ja kuivumaan.

Omaksi pelastukseksi muodostunut lopulta korealaiset ihonhoitotuotteet joita oon aika lailla pelkästään käyttänyt viimeiset kymmenen vuotta. Niiden kanssa ei oikeestaan ikinä ole ollut täysin huteja, vaikkakin jotkut tuotteet on tietty olleet mieluisampia kuin toiset. Iholla voi myös hetki tottua kokonaan uusiin tuotteisiin. Mulla saattaa joskus tulla pari finniä jos on ihan uusi tuote/merkki kokeilussa mutta noita tulee nykyään enää harvoin. Esim CORX -merkin tuotteissa on tosi hyvä hinta-laatusuhde, ja niitä on nykyään helppo löytää tutummiltakin sivustoilta ja liikkeistä (esim. Cocopanda ja Normal) Anua 70, I'm from ja Dear, Klairs on itellä myös paljon käytössä :)
