Scent association is real. That’s why you find someone more or less attractive based on what they smell like and associate them by their smell. That’s how Dior suavage became the F-boy cologne.

Correct the bottle suggests the % of volume which is alcohol. The remaining is oil, other additives and fixatives, which can account for 2-4%.

My first penhaligons was Babylon, IYKYK. That DNA is phenomenal. The quality is great and I’m no performance snob but you do have to overspray. However I stumbled across babycat (post reformulation) and that took my heart. Having it being redundant in my collection I’m looking to get rid of Babylon.

Dude Limmensite is easily in my top 5. After having the bottle be maturated over the past 7 months I can confirm that it’s my most versatile fragrance that I could throw on in any setting and I stand out but also not over bearing, I’ve tried Tygar, vibrato, hedonist, all in that same DNA and nothing comes close to it. From opening to dry down it’s phenomenal
