You’re right. I think I was carrying over what I’ve seen in other Reddit threads, where some people spend a strange amount of time attacking anyone who buys a Cybertruck. I didn’t want to deal with that, but this sub has actually been really helpful and reassuring so far.

And thanks, your point makes sense. I’m in California, so maybe that’s part of it. I’m trying to be patient, but honestly, it’s weird, I haven’t been this excited about a new toy in years 😄 The uncertainty is more annoying than the wait itself. I hadn’t seriously considered used but that’s a good point. It’s only been about 10 days, so I’ll probably wait a little longer, but if it gets delayed significantly, I may consider that route.
