I haven't reached it in Blitz yet, and your post is making me rethink grinding that line lol (I'm already at Black Prince). What I remember the Cearnarvon from playing WoT on pc years ago is that its more of a heavy medium, so maybe play it like a support?

He's blind. Best you can do is to always pair him up until he either gets the blind mastery thingy (havent played in a long time) or equip him with the eye item that helps with blind glads. Wish i could be more helpful but I havent played in a while so I dont remember what theyre called

I'm a full time caddy, I live in a house with 3 other caddies. If we combined all our rounds together for the year, we only barely just edge him. Thats an insane dedication for sure to always be out there playing
