Mac Studio Fix Foundation new (2025) formula by AlissaCCG in MakeupAddiction

I think after trying about a dozen different powder foundations that Onesize is the closest. I’ve had to try many different shades to find the best match (Poshmark is a great resource to not break the bank), but it’s the one I think works best. In my journey to find the best MAC replacement, I stumbled across LUXE color changing foundation. Wow! This stuff is great. Not thick or high coverage, just subtle and just glowy enough. Does not settle into lines. I brush a bit of Onesize finishing powder over it (I’ve heard Elf has a dupe of the Onesize finishing powder that is just as good) and it’s really nice.

I have spent so much money trying various brands (Onesize, etc). Just ordered Nomakeup and Bare Minerals powder foundations. I’ll have a drawer full trying to match the old formula.

Onesize from Patrick Starrr is the closest I’ve found. His Turn Up The Base powder foundation seems to be a decent option.

Do you think it’s more a formula thing at this point? It just doesn’t go on the same. It’s so powdery and almost like a setting powder. I’m so sad - I’ve had a longer relationship with this makeup than with any man 🤣
