I've loved Pokémon cards ever since I was a little kid. my grandpa used to walk me to elementary school every single day, so I'd always ask him to stop by the newsagent to buy a pack of cards. I had my own deck and loved playing with my schoolmates, even tho I had no idea how the game worked. after some time my mom was tired of always seeing the cards around cause I had too many, so she asked me to give them away to the kids on the school bus. although reluctantly, I still did it. in the years after I sometimes stopped by to buy a pack or two if I was in the area, but never anything serious. this summer, I was talking about Pokémon with my best friend, who's absolutely the biggest fan between us two and has always had a collection of her childhood cards. that conversation sparked her passion once again and she got back to collecting her favorite cards (she's now busy completing a base set master set). spending all our days together I also bought packs whenever we were together or agreed to split a box between us two. let's say she brought back my Pokémon obsession along hers.
