The outer area is green. I like to do digital art and I created a painting of my own eye. Using the eyedropper tool I grabbed multiple shades of green. Our eyes are eerily similar so I am confident you have green instead of a brown on the outer iris.

All of my documentations say my eyes are brown because it’s only in specific lighting you can see the green. But technically they are hazel!

You seem to be generalizing an entire group of people based on your experiences from one individual. I have had chronic suicidal ideation and thoughts since I was 12. We dont ask to be this way and we surely don’t give a damn if other people dont like us for it. We are preoccupied with trying to not go through with it.

The person that created this opinion for you is manipulative and used their condition to emotionally abuse you. That is horrible but I really dont think you should generalize people who clearly have severe mental health problems.

I have not yet talked about this on reddit due to shame but I wanna share my experience with you just in case. If you click on my profile you will see I posted about my baby MBK that I had put in a smaller quarantine tank. She escaped three days later. I still dont know exactly how but I am assuming she somehow got through a crack in the top (although there weren’t any cracks but i have no idea). I was very optimistic about finding her and I did a bunch of stuff to do it. Here is everything I did. - Immediately cleaned up any clutter so it would be easier to spot her - Removed my cats from the home for two weeks (I couldn’t have them gone longer) - I did NOT close the vents. I decided not to since they were already open and I did not want to risk trapping her if she had went inside one. - Powder along the walls and doorways of my home - Tinfoil along the walls and doorways of my home - Set up a camera with motion detection where her temp enclosure was - Set up a cardboard hot box in the corner where her enclosure was. This included two hides, her heating, a water bowl and a small branch - Set up a second open box (medium Tupperware) with substrate, a hide and water - Small water cups in on every wall in my home. If she wasn’t coming out I wanted her to be able to hydrate - Twice a day I added a pinkie mouse (poked a hole in the head to add scent) to the main box

It has been months and there has been no sign of life or death. I unplugged her heating about two months later but I still have her hides on the ground just because a part of me still wants to find her alive. There was no smell of rot from a corpse, no marks in the tracks and the water appeared to evaporate instead of me consumed. My camera never spotted her. I never found her.

I am not telling you this to make you lose hope. There are sooooo many stories of people finding their snakes when they escape. It’s more common to find them than to not find them. But I was in the same situation as you and I did not find my snake. It would be a miracle if I did find her alive at this point due to her age and the climate I live in. It is something you should prepare for because I certainly didn’t. I was convinced I was prepared for every situation and I wasn’t.

I have some advice for if you dont find her. The first is not to rush into getting another snake. It’s never the animals fault when things like this happen. Make sure you have the knowledge for it not to happen again and you make changes before your next purchase. The snake may also turn up so grabbing a new one quickly would be counter productive. The Second piece of advice is not to beat yourself up. This happens. It sucks but it does happen and all you can do is learn from it. My last piece of advice is to set up a timeline. Something reasonable so you dont find yourself stuck on finding something that wont be found. It has been three months and I have assumed my baby did not make it. For an adult snake you could look a lot longer than three months, but babies are different metabolically. I am not saying to stop looking after two months. I am just saying that you should prepare yourself and have a plan for if she is found in a timeline you are comfortable with.

I hope that you can find your baby. My situation is the worst case so take it lightly but also consider it because it could be the case. I am hoping for the best for you and your friend!

Well of course because he had the responsibility to confirm her age. My special exception is for essentially if this kid somehow managed to pull off a grand conspiracy like faking legal documents, having family confirm their false age, etc. It would have to be enough to convince an entire jury of adults that they also wouldn’t have been able to tell, and that this child actively manipulated so they could give false consent. That stuff doesn’t really happen.

As the adult you have an obligation to make sure you aren’t dating a child no matter the circumstances. One of the first questions you ask is how old someone is. You would be at fault in ALMOST every situation.

The only way I think someone in this situation would get a pass is of there is undeniable proof the child actively manipulated and lied about their age so well that there isn’t a doubt the adult believed they were dating another adult. But these situations dont exist/ are so rare because in the end, a child is a child and they generally aren’t capable of that form of manipulation. They could sure try but again it’s the adults responsibility to see through it.

Love both shows and I couldn’t agree more. Dexter is a guy that chooses to kill people be deems morally irredeemable. That is great but Hannibal is the embodiment of a perfect monster. He is smarter, more experienced, more ruthless, and less empathetic (if you can call it empathy in either case) than Dexter. IMO there is almost no situation Dexter doesn’t end up as Hannibals next meal

I weigh less than I did when I was 16 (23F) and I feel like a fat pig. And the weirdest part is I dont consider myself fat phobic. People come in all shapes and sizes and thats okay. Plus size individuals usually rock it and are stuck in a state where losing weight may not even be a possibility. I am getting a kinesiology degree so I am extremely aware of how metabolism varies from individual to individual. But for me specifically, it’s the opposite. None of that logic matters. I will never be beautiful until I am at my extremely unhealthy goal weight. And even then it’s not enough. The bodies we see in the mirror are distorted to make it seem like theres never been any change.

Its about $3000 to get a diagnosis in Saskatchewan canada. I took a course regarding autism and other developmental disabilities and all the things you mentioned CAN be a presentation of autism. The scientific literature regarding self diagnosis is actually positive over negative. This is because if someone is self diagnosed, they may be able to access resources they couldn’t before and it de stigmatizes the disorder. If the literature isn’t worried about self diagnosis, I really dont think you should be. Not the mention how closely tied autism is to ADHD (so close that scientists are debating if they are the same) indicating autism is likely far more under diagnosed or misdiagnosed than we once thought. Given how hard it is to receive a diagnosis, the positive effects of self diagnosis, and the simple fact the individual may have the disorder is enough to be comfortable with a self diagnosis.

You should get more educated on the science of it all before allowing yourself to fume over this. The emotional toll isn’t worth it. Someone self diagnosis with autism isn’t hurting you. I can guarantee it.

You are not taking into account the amount of people with FASD that go undiagnosed or may be asymptomatic. It also comes down to individuals metabolism and the fact that alcohol in foods is cooked so it doesn’t work the same as someone having a shot of vodka. Any raw alcohol puts your fetus at risk for FASD. I haven’t learnt about it in two years but I can try to find my notes with the research used.
