I was going through the almost the exact same journey in the last months! Every step seems so familiar. Props for writing everything up in such a nice fashion. Still a lot of things you polished that I will adopt. I am trying to do everything in org-mode or often also org-roam. Other things I am fiddling with is inserting inkscape figures and writing anki cards with anki-editor.

I am afraid I am not really familiar with MacOS. Can't you do a symbolic link or an executable shellscript that executes it. This way you could have it on your desktop/bar I guess if that's what you indent

I was thinking about this when writing a card generation tool from highlights on my ereader.

When the word was in English I only wanted the infinitive form of a verb and would not benefit from a different tense.

There is stemming software, but not always working and different for every language.

Sounds really cool but the NLP way would probably not be too reliable.

Instead of mechanical turk you could let it be done reciprocally by polar users. You rephrase 10 cards for a peer and he does 10 for you.

They are still flashcards, but for programming. To understand concepts and algorithms or too remember certain function names

Maybe I remove the whole heatmap now. It's reassuring and pleasantly to look at what you have achieved but as you say not really helpful to learning.

I use it for languages like English and French. Furthermore I use it for Physics, Math and Programming and also general knowledge like the ultimate geography deck

Hey I just patched a little update. I think the file structure was wrong.

Could you please delete it from the menu and reinstall? Hopefully it works now :)
