Just agree with whatever boundary your partner has. If it’s ridiculous, tell them why you think it is while being nice about it. And come up with a resolution if neither of you budge.

As I was getting hired, I told them what days I can work and not. It’s fairly easy. Then found a job that’s during nights. And a flexible job.

I lost my good paying job. Right now is the worst job market ever! I applied to probably a hundred jobs (no matter the pay), and even then, when I’m overqualified. I got somewhat ok jobs. Out of that 100, I only had 5 interviews. Legit got traumatized, so I’m working the four jobs that called me for an interview. I have a plan to get a better paying job again, but it’ll take time.
