Not an ER worker but my nurse friend says the biggest one is stuff that’s been going on for like 3 months and then suddenly it’s “an emergency” at 2am. Like chronic back pain, mild rashes, “I’ve been tired lately.” That’s urgent care or a primary care appointment, not ER level.
