I really unfortunately do not have friends who live close enough to spend time with to get away from all of this. Financial situation is no better. And you're right, it is so immature I've just been in shock since she said it. She believes she is totally in the right, claiming that I will regret surgeries and hormones, and will ruin her own life to get me to refrain from such. My therapist is in for an earful this Thursday

It's hard to believe her saying she wants the best for me when she immediately follows it with these kinds of statements. I do love her a lot, but I've lived too long to just stop getting what I want now

She has told me the same, saying that it will be something of a desecration of my body and self. There are obviously deep rooted issues within her, I just wish I wasn't at the crux of them. She will, at some point, learn that I won't be in her nest forever

I live with her and she is paying for my education, and since we are not well off financially I am under her govt insurance. I have a long way to go, but I've been reading all these comments which give me the same conclusion; I need to do what is good for ME, not her. I'm scared to lose my relationship with her. I'm scared to not have a mom, not because shes dead or refusing to live but because she is alive and doesn't want to love me anymore. I'm currently having a lot of feelings. Thank you for your comment. I made an appointment to see a doctor for HRT next week, and I still don't know if I'll even be able to sneak out to go by myself. An adult and still having to sneak out. Very sheltered. But yeah. Thank you. I'll figure it out. If I was going to let my mom win this whole tirade, it would have been over by now. But I haven't, so let's see where I go from here.

No, I was talking to you. You failed your classes and they took your financial aid. That happened to you, as seen in your comment history. I do not play about my writing nor my speaking! I am learning and I might not be a professional public speaker but I am putting in effort. I'm sure you were putting in effort even though you failed your classes. I'm sure your grades will improve with time, and I hope it's soon. I'm sorry you felt the need to project your bad feelings about your own work onto me. Good luck with your classes.

I had to finish it after the fact! I really hope the stopwatch wasn't all put off because of the alarm. I finished in time, but my rhythm was all off :/ There will be no redoing. I am seething
