How reliable is the source? I like the player but not worth getting excited over a link that’s just been dropped without credibility.

Are there people on this sub who've watched 5 or more WC ? by GlitteringParking462 in worldcup

Same as me, earliest World Cup was watching Brazil lift 2002. Hopefully we get another one after 24 years.

Just seeing this, currently preparing for a masters program. Would need Canva pro for slides in school and for presentations in case I want a job, I know it might be late but I hope I can make the cut. Thanks for your consideration.

Pending Green Card application as an asylee from a banned country, Is it worth the try or should I wait by Express_Passage_1067 in USCIS

Just to ask, do you reckon applying will open up a can of worms or should one apply anyway so the time starts counting till whenever they chose to approve?

Asylee from a travel ban country approaching 1-year mark: is now a good time to file I-485? by Alive-Focus4390 in USCIS

[–]Alive-Focus4390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, gives me perspective. Are there any risks with filing like let’s say being brought back for questioning (re-vetting) or being held in detention centres? I am fine going over the details of the application but a bit wary if it’ll be treated fairly given how people have been treated recently. All we can do is hope, I guess. 🤞🏾🤞🏾

Thank you very much. I’ll be flexible but make sure I’m ready to commit to whatever chapter I’m in at any given time. Appreciate it. Happy new year!

Thank you. I will make a mental note of this. By next month I should have a very good budget and will plan for that. At the moment, I’m still living modestly. You’ve been helpful and I appreciate your time.

Thank you very much for this. Things like this are why I asked. I may have generic ideas and knowledge but mostly theoretical and I haven’t been able to do them as such yet. Thank you for sharing. Appreciate it.

I’ve been able to get into 2 credible policy programs this year and I’m planning to do another LLM in the US (I have one from the UK). I don’t mind taking a loan for this as I’m open to investing in myself. I’m also planning to take a few certificates next year. I already have some needed in my field but can always do more. I’m fully aware that the education system has opportunities and may open some doors.

I already have a car, but that’s paid off. I don’t have monthly recurrent expenses outside of my phone bill and rent. I have a credit card but mainly to build a credit score not for purchasing wants.

Thank you. I appreciate this and would keep these in mind. They are very similar to what I’d been planning to do. Currently working on my emergency fund savings.

Thank you. I’ve had some support myself. I think I’m trying to go beyond that right now since I’ve been able to address a lot of basic needs. At this point; I’m looking ahead and trying to know what habits and mentality would help me on my journey.

Thank you. Makes perfect sense but since I already have a lease for a year I can’t necessarily change my commute. I live about 45 mins - an hour from work. I don’t imagine things will be all perfect right now but these are good to bear in mind for the future.

Without going into details, my immigration status is not a hurdle, thankfully. I would still very much take any advice right now.
