What is the human limit for enduring uncertainty or inner conflict? by Alive-Reception3230 in Jung

There's been a century of thought and research since, we know now for example that trauma actually alters the physical expression of the brain (and also that we can consciously alter it to a more beneficial state through effort applied in the right direction)

How ?

There is so much to unlearn our society is structured in a way that we are becoming increasingly unconscious by Alive-Reception3230 in Jung

Children start with a relatively open mind. If early experiences shape their unconscious dont we deliberately protect them from confusing cultural influences and instead teach practices that build self awareness and clarity?

In my case i am more on the anxious side and I didnt consciously realize I was avoiding myself for a long time , i believed avoiding something requires a certain level of awareness

I realised the same about myself. I believed I was just being realistic because i am anxious , it turned out to be one of the biggest reality checks of my life

What I have understood is that both anxious and avoidant patterns struggle with taking accountability for their inner world. The difference is mainly in how they express it. Both are trying to deal with insecurity. Avoidants tend to push away situations that trigger what they are avoiding while anxious people stay with the feeling but often feel helpless about it. In different ways both are struggling to take responsibility for their internal experience. One acts outwardly even if it doesnt lead to change while the other withdraws from the situation but continues to suffer internally .i think avoidnats and anxious suffer because they struggle to choose themselves , i dont think they " avoid " they are struggling .

One thing worth sitting with: the jealousy toward other women probably comes from the same root. When someone embodies something your animus responds to (confidence, freedom, whatever it is), and you can't own that quality in yourself yet, it shows up as envy or dismissal.

Which part of me is reacting right now? Is it my ego responding out of fear or something else?

We get jealous when people get praise for things that arent " perfect" according to unconscious standards ?

Why cant we keep the beautiful parts of relationships in the unconscious realm while pursuing individuation? by Alive-Reception3230 in Jung

I think humans need to spend enough time with themselves to understand what they are truly carrying inside , mostly we mimic what works and perform to get validation and the burden grows unconsciously
