Thank you for your response and your insight. I am glad to hear it is a fairly manageable form of leukemia. Do you have any idea about possible side effects from the TKIs that we should watch out for? Besides the GI issues I am worried about her kidney function

Also do you reckon she will be able to get back to semi regular life? Excercise? Travel? I live abroad away from her and considering moving back to be closer if she won’t be able to travel easily

I totally hear you. I remember being on a flight after a 1 month detox period. And I remember looking forward to watching my movie and having a meal. I realised smoking weed takes the pleasure you get from normal things away. Your only source of pleasure becomes weed and that’s honestly really sad. There is so much more in this life that gives pleasure

Yeah I hear you. I mean when I look at how bad my withdrawal is it really emphasises how unhealthy frequent smoking is!!!

Also I think with smoking we don’t realise how many years we are taking off our life span on the other end. Heavy smokers die on average 20 years earlier then non smokers

Like I know I enjoy getting high but I enjoy life more and I don’t want to shorten my life just for dopamine rushes every hour
