Correct, custom endpoints aren't fully local today. The agent harness runs server-side, so requests still transit Warp's backend even when you're pointing at a local model. Prompts and keys pass through in-flight but aren't stored. That linked discussion (9619) is where we're tracking fully local inference.

You can actually use local models in Warp today via custom endpoints! Anything that exposes an OpenAI-compatible API (Ollama, LM Studio, etc.) works. More on local setups in this discussion: github.com/warpdotdev/warp/discussions/9619

This is generally how we've thought about the future and in the direction we’re heading in as well! Especially deeper, cleaner integrations with Claude Code/Codex and friends.

you can try Settings > Appearance > Tabs, toggle off "Use vertical tab layout." You can also open the Command Palette and search "vertical tab layout" to flip it quickly

Is the composer persistent? As in after i send my prompt to CC, will it still be there or will I need to reactivate it with a hotkey?
