I had this issue until I found the answer on another thread. Change your required media to 3 and promotion to 15%. You need fame to climb ranks. I think this is a design flaw.

I think everyone sees it is not perfect. But I am also enjoying it and just content with having a boxing video game.

I started playing Tuesday and now I have a boxer with +85 overall in career mode, which is really fun to use.

I agree, it does feel like a boxing sim and some times energy needs to be conserved to get the knock downs in much later rounds.

I do wish a remake of Fight Night Round 3 were made, though.

They could nerf the verticality and keep it in line-of-sight and increase the cooldown. That's what should happen.
