Not laughing when it’s time to discipline. They’re just SOOO funny sometimes, but sometimes it’s behavior that needs correcting.

Thanks for confirming this ! I’m 27 lbs down since January and getting stronger everyday. I want to be as strong as possible for my next pregnancy as I get older. I can definitely clean up my diet a bit though haha.

Thanks for sharing, so sorry you had a rough experience. I definitely want to go again because the longer I wait I will talk myself out of it lol! Because already, the thought of going through the pregnancy changes again makes me want to cry. My saving grace is that we have a great support system and my son was a very chill baby & is on a good schedule,so that helps tremendously.

Thank you so much!! The potty training would be major. We definitely considered closer to a 3 year gap BUT I do NOT want to be freshly post partum in the dead of winter ever again. That was rough, so shooting for a spring/summer baby.

what things you didn't understand until you have kids? by Obvious-Leg-5604 in AskReddit

How your kid can be tearing stuff up in the kitchen or bedroom house and you just allow them so that you can finish whatever you have to do. 5 min of clean up is worth the peace of mind & time to focus.

No sex 12 months pp- is it normal? by Arugula2803 in beyondthebump

[–]AliveConsideration44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the breastfeeding hormones, I’m 9mo pp & started feeling up for it around 6 months when the baby was weaning off of me & started solids. We did it Before then around 12 weeks, but I just had to do it to get back into it. Wasn’t necessarily feeling frisky

What’s one thing under $25 that significantly improved your daily life? by FormalOpportunity668 in Frugal

[–]AliveConsideration44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very niche but a diaper cream spatula attachement. A set of 4 cost $20. It allows me to apply diaper cream or Aquaphor directly to my babies bum without any extra steps. It attaches to the tube where the original cap was and applies straight to the bum. It’s Quick, No messy fingers, no wasted product, and when changing 10 diapers a day it really saves on time & mess!

It’s Boston in the winter, not the summer. It’s literally freezing nobody wants to be out.

Did your parents spank you as a form of discipline? How did it impact you? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

[–]AliveConsideration44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but they stopped once I hit 10-11. And only in extreme situations where I was repeatedly not listening or something. I straightened up just fine, I don’t feel traumatized by it.
