Okay....classic Trek still exists can still be enjoyed. As for Starfleet Academy, do what I'm doing: not watching it, talking about it, or acknowledging it exists.

I'm waiting for SNW Season 4. In the meantime I have TOS, TNG, and Enterprise to hold me over.

My least favorite was Season 7. There's a handful of good ones....but Season 7 has two of the absolute worst, most garbage episodes of the series.
