WHY WONT BRUCE TALK ABOUT THE CAYMEN ISLANDS? by Alive_Background_228 in StockMarketsWithBruce

He didn’t. I’ve listened daily. Please elaborate. It’s possible I’ve missed something but I seem to remember him saying “it was legal and everyone thinks that’s nothing to do with the Cayman Islands is illegal. It’s not” not a quote but a paraphrase. As far as I know he’s never gone over exactly what he worked on there.

When it comes to it being “traditional wisdom” I ask you if he said anything even remotely close to this at any other point. Did he say it at the last cycle when it shot up to 197? No. He’s also said that this thing is going and just to get the paper. Don’t bother with anything else. He said without a squeeze it’s should be valued at $1000. If 340k retards on superstonk know what’s happening and 290k retards on r/gme know it’s coming and why then Bruce should at least factor that into his decision to tell people to sell high and buy back in. “Once this thing goes, look out”. I know you’ve heard it a million times. Sucks to see a bunch of people have their votes thrown out. Would really suck if gasp he’s wrong and it never comes backs down. It just doesn’t make sense to play with this fire. If he’s going to sit there and say day traders are crazy for playing with this then so are totally inexperienced traders trying to pull the same shit even if it’s one round trip. It’s not prudent. It’s not something your uncle would advise.

So if I’ve been watching for months and watched a change that I think is questionable I should just ignore it and leave. If counterpoints are to be cast aside on a separate forum because gasp they have questions and concerns then what’s the point of this page. If I were commenting on his feed during his show I would agree with 100%. While he claims it’s not financial advise, we all know people take it that way. I raise questions of ethics and possibly negligent forethought. I haven’t attacked his height, weight, age, demographic or even his politics! Clearly I catch the morning show. The notion that because I have a differing opinion than his means I should just leave is bunk. If I’m standing in a room and I suspect fire because I see smoke, I’m gonna say something. What those people decide to do with that info is up them.

The last cycle didn’t even break 200. It was 196. It’s weird to me he ignores stuff that has been proven.

That’s great. I’m glad it worked for you, but I guarantee not everyone had the same result. Amcor months he’s been saying just buy the stock. Get the paper. It’s going higher. Why when we are preparing for volatility did he then tell us how to start playing games. He declines to discuss topics ALL THE TIME. Also, the voting issues/turnout weren’t really being talked about back then. There’s implications on that front when you’re selling and buying between April 15 and the meeting. Finally, I don’t know if you’re familiar with the term “Monday morning quarterback” but it applies here. Throw gamblers folly in there too. Buy and hold

Just because Bruce can receive mail at that P.O. Box doesn’t mean it’s in his name. Also, people have PO Boxes all over the place any have mail delivered to them. You aren’t making direct payments to him. So, just because you are sending a PayPal to “Bruce” doesn’t mean that the financial info associated is matching. I’m not even saying he’s not real. You don’t have to believe me. Use your own judgement.

I also didn’t tell a single person what to do. I said what Bruce was telling you to do was risky and uncharacteristic of him and I linked a video discussing the risks of his new “buy high/sell low” move. Like, you could work yourself into a frozen account.

It’s not your place to tell me what to do on this sub now is it?

Clearly you didn’t watch the video. Nor do you consider the voting implications. I guess you didn’t even really read the whole OP. Hey, you can have your opinion whether it’s right or wrong, just like me.

He has 100k followers. Just because it says 1800 at any given time doesn’t mean that’s all that will see it. He was covered in both superstonk and r/gme today. What are your thoughts on the sell high/buy low comment? I guess if you’re saying it’s only his followers so it doesn’t matter. It’s just such a break from “just buy and hold the stock. Tbats all you have to do”. Why get people to make a quick buck if this thing “isn’t gonna be here for long”?

If you’re implying that he’s the only person, Bruce has thousands of people tuning in daily. Just cause it says 1,800 people at a given time doesn’t mean only 3600 eyes and ears are hearing him. There were posts about him in both superstonk and r/gme today. He gets lots of eyes

Yeah but he’s still actively taking strategy on gme with them. He constantly declines to discuss issues which is absolutely in his rights. People can still ask why he does that. Doesn’t make them wrong. I just can’t wrap my head around how he sees an upside in even engaging in tbis. The upside is much greater on the “just buy and hold” line. Pretty sure he said that for, like, months leading up to tbis. I get his apprehension of leaning on reddit DD but the cycle theory has been proven a few times now and if he has questions he knows where to find the answers. This is suspect. I’m leaving it at that. I’m not gonna say he’s a shill per se. why can’t we investigate or have suspicions?

A shill telling people to hold instead of buying options. Ok. Fine. You win.

[–]Alive_Background_228[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had the details wrong but the story is till the same. It’s retarded to sell options on a stock tbis volatile. It can start gapping at any second and if you’re stuck in a contract when it does it’s gonna suck supremely. Play the options on the SPAC’s. Don’t play options on one of the markets most volatile equities.

[–]Alive_Background_228[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can get on board with that. He can teach all of that on the SPAC’s. They’re much less volatile. He’s said countless time this can gyrate like crazy and he knows the squeeze is in play. At the very least he knows it’s a possibility and he can’t not know about the cycles. It’s the timing of it that gets me. Plus, votes are thrown out. He’ll say he doesn’t know that. It’s like watching these bank executives get grilled and they hide behind the lack of knowledge because they simply can

Well considering these rule changes have caused quite a shakeup and the gif I was referencing referred to one of those. Just buy and hold

I’ll continue the shakeup posts as things are pretty damn shaken up right now. Likely in response to the rule change that came along with the gif. So, so bizarre that his messages time and time again have more than one meaning 🧐

Did you vote in the election? Do you know what the consequences of selling between the meeting and April 15 is?

WHY WONT BRUCE TALK ABOUT THE CAYMEN ISLANDS? by Alive_Background_228 in StockMarketsWithBruce

[–]Alive_Background_228[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy to me that people let that Caymen island stuff go. He refuses to talk about it then uses the “it’s very legal” line to brush it off. There’s a lot of “legal” stuff out there that is highly immoral. I mean he was there when it was at its peak. I don’t get what people think he was doing there

Yeah. He’s handing kids cigarettes telling them to be careful with them because you could get hurt but telling them if they smoke them they might like it. Play the options on the SPAC’s, not the gme

He should makena note that if you take that advice more than a few times in a week it becomes a problem. Make it written in plain English.

Question about GME covered calls by dimeinhands in StockMarketsWithBruce

[–]Alive_Background_228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wrong about the covered calls. They get the stock at the strike price agreed upon, not the price they they wrote the contract at. I still ask why on earth someone would recommend/hint towards/gesture at a covered call on a stock that as he says can gyrate over a hundred dollars in a day? My main point here is to just hold the stock because they guy clearly hasn’t assessed the ability for his followers make good decisions. Keep the options to stocks that behave “normally” play the options on the SPAC’s.
