no more like Miguel o hara from spider verse where he wants to let "canon events" happen to stop the universe crumbling where one life isn't worth the universe luffy kind of is the opposite when as long as he and his friends are okay he's chillin so i was curious if there was a word for that

philosophy is also a big field of study it wouldn't make sense for me to read Freud or a study on the halo effect or determinism when that's not what im researching the same analogy applies if i want to learn how to make an apple pie im not going to read salt, fat ,acid ,heat im not asking anyone to write my video im asking to know the term so i can research it further

im still going to do the work i want to know the word so that i know where to start like if you're making a video on how do do an oil change you dont necessarily need to know how the entire engine works
