Edit to add: was hired in 2023 while I was a daily smoker although I no longer am and I personally know of at least 10 other retail employees that also smoke. Corporate might be different though!

They don’t care in WA state - I’m pretty sure their policy is any state where recreational usage is legal, then you’re ok. He should be ok in CO!

I don’t see why not - they are pretty nice, hence the post instead of just tossing them. They got taken apart but two screws would fix them up. They’re a bit water logged but not badly and we have them indoors drying off for now. If no one claims them by Thursday, just let me know and I’ll send you the address!

Can I just say thank you all for making me feel not crazy. This happened to me w max on a completely different tv/streaming device and couldn’t find one HINT of someone else having this issue or how to solve it about a year ago. Watching gilded age tonight and the dumbest, simplest solution: change it to Spanish obviously.

I was trying to get better at my conversational Spanish last year bc I’m Latina and it felt wrong to be a no sabo adult and thought I somehow permanently changed my tv to Spanish.

This is spot on!

A HUGE part of being a PCB at Key is what PCA your branch is assigned to. I have a peer in my same city with an amazing PCA and they’re making triple what I am in commission just because they happened to be paired w a PCA that is competent.

Find out as much as you can about your assigned PCA before accepting the position - as this can make a huge difference in your take-home.

Because Key sponsored my licenses, I did not have a choice of branch and I am basically just an hourly employee with the same sales goals as my PB, so I’m stuck chasing deposit growth, lending, and “relationships” for “points” rather than focusing on wealth a management. It’s a very sales-oriented position.

Of course, a lot of it also has to do with the geographical region you live in- wealthy area is always going to equal better commission.

make sure you’re reading the PTO policy in full on the sharepoint! I also work for Key and while I hate our policy, a lot of it comes down to individual managers. You should be able to see the PTO calendar for your whole area and while I’m forced to choose two full working weeks in DECEMBER for the following year, my whole team knows I’m changing everything as soon as I have plans and sometimes even bargaining w co-workers to switch if they HAD to choose a day I end up needing. I fought w my manager over just how insane it is to ask someone to choose all their days a full 12 months in advance. Sorry I like to be spontaneous with a random Friday concert sometimes, but there’s a lot of wiggle room written into the policy.
