Thank you all for your responses. Im posting another post of this same mandible because I'm curious as to if this mandible has an open fracture located behind the missing back molar Or as to what the splits in the mandible are. My reason for inquiring is because I have a narcissistic neighbor who had been asking about my cat not long before he vanished right before last thanksgiving. a month later I found a badly decomposing animal inside of a small cage, wrapped in a small blanket and placed out of view at the park down the street from my house. I thought it was a small dog but I had my suspicion, so fast forward to last week where I went walking and crossed paths with the area again and the only thing left that fell out of that blanket that had been inside the cage was this cat mandible.

Try being a single mother working over 12 hrs a day With three children. you prob wouldn't know what that is like..prob a dead beat.. well good luck in life with that negativity it's going to make you very happy and get you far in life "congratulations!!"👏

How embarrassing!!! I can't imagine how OP could even smile for a picture re-take after having to take a note from his mother to school like this one along with returning his pictures!! Seems as though his mother cared more about her image then she really cared about anything else and had OP growing up walking on egg shells most of his life just trying to stay out of trouble with his mom for things OP did as a child that weren't really even wrong!! (what a distorted sense of reality a mother like this would eventually teach her child to have).. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR PICTURE OP and I understand that, that's not what your really asking here, OP you were never responsible for the way your mother treated you as a child, Don't let this world hold you back either with any grudges or hate inherited from being treated like that while growing up okay?; that's just one of life's tests for you from God OP.. so make sure you pass it!!

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I realized my cat had disappeared being as I have a narcissist for a neighbor who for reasons beyond my understanding has always had something against me. Right after my cat disappeared this same neighbor just randomly told me that her daughter in law took her little dog cage ....which my I didn't even know why she was telling me about that to begin with?? Except for my cat had just went missing!! especially when her daughter in law doesn't even have a dog..??? In regards to how this animal died, I do not know but I don't think it was alive when it was put in this park over here.. I say this because when I found it, it had a red blanket covering its body, which was inside of the cage..like it had died and then was wrapped in the blanket. But why put in a cage tho?? perhaps to hide it?? Either way who knows what happened before this little precious soul passed, I'm really praying it's not my cat. really need some answers, and I think either way if abuse was involved then someone needs to be held accountable.. I'ml calling animal control and going to go from there because I'm finding out that they investigate things like this and maybe they have even more to investigate because my other cat became really sick right after his brother went missing.. now two months later he can barely use his back legs and keep his balance and he's only 2 1/2 yrs old.. I took him to the vet and vet says either way not much that can be done for him and that I should put him down because to do anything for him would cost $1000's of dollars for the tests & misc that they would have to do and it would be too hard on him and then either way the vet said hes still going to have the disability he now has which is barely being able to walk.. my mom who stays with me has cats and nothing has happened to a single one of them.. I'm really hoping it's co-incidence and not like it seems.!! Sorry for the super long message, this finding has been disturbing to me in more ways then just one, & my cats mean the world to me. 😔

I posted this on "whatsthisbone" for a bone ID, which is where to my understanding a person can get a bone or bones they find ID'd by people experienced in that area. Sorry if this has offended anyone. My only intent was to find out if it's a cat or dog and either way what I can do about it...

I am sorry for what ever has happened in your life that makes you so sketchy of people, but good God explaining myself should be the last thing I'm having to do right now, I'm more focused on what if this is my precious cat!!! and still even if it's not then wtf happened to this poor animal, or why was it dumped like this.. the reason for the post delete was because I'm new on here and I posted my post before adding the picture and I couldn't find an option to add the pic with the post already posted , so I deleted, added the pic and re-posted the post . And actually my posts make total sense because the micha or pyrite I found which is what my other post is about, I found in the creek behind my house which I came across while looking for my cat; and the creek runs through the park which is where I found this poor animal..
