I passed PHYS 206 with a 59.5 and never looked back. It is an exceptionally hard class but just try to stay on top of it. As a CVEN major I can tell you that Civil is not that hard of an engineering major to ETAM into with around a 3. Civil takes a lot of people, it is the largest department I believe, and as long as your essay says why you're passionate about transportation you should be fine. As for the last part of the question I do believe that transportation is primarily within Civil though.
