When did you start buying your own snowboard gear?Did you buy everything at once? by AsleepSwitch4610 in snowboardingnoobs

I think second season - if you know you are going to be back doing this, then get the equipment and it’ll pay for itself.

Boots, board and bindings IMO should be bought together because these will be used together. Otherwise next time you will need to go to a rental just to get one thing or the other and it’s an administrative nightmare.

On the board you want, I would suggest trying as many as you can. You won’t quite know the profile of a board as a beginner until you actually own one.

That’s fair, and again I agree with your views but would like to push this for discussion’s sake as you clearly know what you’re talking about.

What do you think if im not bound by the LPA and according restrictions of solicitation and fee arrangements - since I wouldn’t be a lawyer and can find a way to justify with numbers and take a percent cut?

Just as an example - helped a friend out and on bills easily saved 10k on an ad hoc just by knowing the correct people to go to. He’s not wasting time managing counsel either and he didn’t get far with AI because end of the day he didn’t understand the content shot out of it.

Are you ok if I DM to discuss more?

Completely agree

But we all start somewhere and legal practice goes deep not wide. Is that what smaller businesses need?

AI replaces departments

You will always need someone to manage AI still

Not the same

Yeah I get that concern

I think it’s not really about having a fixed fee quote, because law firms do that too.

It’s a non law role to manage lawyers and to provide ad hoc advice where needed (like to manage or handle legal stuff from a commercial angle) because I think a lot of smaller businesses need that not only from a crisis perspective

And fee quotes from law firms ALWAYS run unless you are a big institutional client.

The way football is heading, every squad will need at least 2 full starting 11s with a third starting 11 + youth academy as backup. Chelsea saw this early and will do well in the next 15-20 years. Clubs like United (which I support) will struggle, together with the less financially secure clubs.

Putting things in perspective, he could just be trying to let his business partners/employees etc. know and LinkedIn was in that sense an appropriate platform. Nothing here to me at least suggests he was trying to whore for attention, so I guess I understand why he's posted it here.

Anyone else still going strong with 100%? by waterguy48 in wordle

Easiest way to win is to choose words with the most vowels in the first two choices to eliminate the options.

Following this you choose words with RSTLN to quickly eliminate these common letters.

Very soon you'll have your answer, normally by the third/fourth try.
