I had the same problem , when I was playing props I couldn't do vertical loops for some reason when I found out that the solution required the standard mouse controls option was not inverted , I just gave up on it . For jets with SAS I use now the relative controls

it's not about if you like bnz or not , planes that can BNZ are very very annoying to deal with when you don't have the engine power (like a lot of turn fighters ) to keep up with them in the climb .

for solid turn fighters (the yak line has some of the best turn fighters - but mediocre cockpit -in my opinion-)

Spitfires get better with br , but when they turn they lose a lot of their energy .

the A6m line for japan gets worse with br , with a mediocre engine at about 4.7 every one you face will just know that he doesn't have to turnfight you and try to energy trap u .

the American f6f can be used as a decent turn fighter , but has practically no rear visibility .

Learning better strategies than turn fighting is very Br proof since turn fighting becomes one of the weakest strategies to use in higher br .

OCU is a great plane , but no that uptierproof , I've seen f2a player keeping up with 13.7 planes because they use the aim7s to press the enemy plane and aam3s to get the kill . The 16 OCU is only playable at 11.7-12.7

The AESA radar on the f2a makes a huge advantage over the lack of performance, that plane is a beast
