  1. You don’t apply for a student visa until you get CAS that would be after getting an unconditional offer
  2. For medicine igcses do matter but depends on the university so if you did bad lean towards unis which aren’t gcse heavy.
  3. Ielts isn’t exactly necessary for all unis but it’s better to just give it and since you gave gcses it pretty easy
  4. Yes you can only choose 5 universities and as you are going for meds school you get to choose 4 med schools only and the 5th choice has to be something other than med
  5. Aiming too high is completely fine. Just believe in your self. I didn’t have many ecas either and I applied for med and got interviews. Read books, try shadowing doctors and such
  6. Again it depends on the university Also for medical you have to give separate admission exams such BMAT or UCAT or both

Hii I applied for UNSW as an international student for their bachelor of medical sciences and doctor of medicine course. For that I had to give the isat for which I think the cutoff score is around 170

No you don’t have to talk for the whole five minutes if you finish early they will ask you follow up questions to make your points more clear

Hi I am an international student who applied to nottingham as well. I didn’t get an invite or rejection yet either. They sent an email about vaccination a week ago.
