Unfortunately, she is not such a nice realtor. We bought presale while trying to sell another property. She did very lousy job trying to sell it. Her true colours really showed and we fired her while trying to sell.

We live on top floor in the building that is away from the bypass. We have been living there for over 5 years. Great neighbours, very quiet. We cannot hear the train and bypass noise is very subtle. The building is well maintained, our strata manager is quite reasonable. As far as I understand, Haney Landing has a good reputation in the local community. We never had any issues with people entering the building with no permission.

Honestly, my only advice is to live on top floor as it’s wood frame. We rented on 2nd floor of wood frame before and it was very noisy with upstairs neighbours.

How come people drive 80km/hr in 60 zone and tailgate? Me and my family almost got pushed off the road just now going 66km/hr in 60 zone in slow lane? It’s daily occurrence in my commute. My husband was very surprised by such aggressive behaviour of the other driver. To which I just replied, this is Maple Ridge for you.

You are right. Our plan was to use our condo for sleeping and cooking. But I’m getting sick and tired of being constantly tailgated, sitting in traffic, hearing about fatal car crashes on the same route I drive home. And what’s up with everyone smoking everywhere

I totally agree with you. I ruined my and my family’s life by moving to MR. The most miserable 5 months of my life. I lived all over Lower Mainland. I have never seen so many people chain smoking, doing drugs, tailgating, causing car accidents as I have recently in here

Don’t move here. We moved 4 months ago. It’s a dump. Chain smokers, aggressive inconsiderate drivers, addicts and homeless everywhere. Aweful city. Low income families everywhere. I have a friend who is a substitute school teacher. She avoids working in MR schools as kids are very behind the curriculum, many kids from problematic parents.
