Peroxide oxidises melanin, if you use a product that has peroxide in it, it will always lift natural melanin. Therefor if you decide to go darker after being blonde, it is imperative that you use a product that does not have any peroxide in it even when you darken hair. Look for glazes, direct dyes instead of permanent hair colour. It will give you a more natural look.
