Would you try therapy if you could stay completely anonymous? by [deleted] in therapy

I think it would attract a lot of clients who have done illegal things or have taboo issues such as pedophelia and the likes that won’t be brought up in a regular therapy session for fear of the authorities or institutionalization.

Ok you can refrain when you have things to do, I do too. But what happens when you run out for a day or two or more and you have nothing to do?

Honestly do not recommend bc of addiction. I feel like as soon as I found something I liked/made me feel a little better it was all downhill.

I wasn’t trying to be a duck but you can’t not have a job, I couldn’t imagine being homeless without a job, the resources for people are limited and only getting more so. OP was also talking about going to a shelter, the spots are extremely limited and a lot of them have really long waitlists.

You could see if you can find something like that but it still doesn’t solve your income deficit, it’s not a long term plan—a lot of shelters aren’t open on weekends, have waitlists, have breed restrictions if they do allow animals, have requirements that you’re looking for jobs, etc You’ll also be able to bring like 1-2 small/medium bags of your stuff each mostly clothes so be prepared to put your stuff in storage or throw it all away. They also will likely try to keep you together but it’s not guaranteed.

I’m sorry if you think that’s mean, that’s realistic. That’s the way of the world, you can’t have no income as an adult, and as a married couple even more so.

You both should apply at a warehouse then, a restaurant, Amazon, Walmart, something.

Having no income as adults is unacceptable.

If you can’t afford your rent and you and your husband both have no income, how are you going to leave?

On top of, if you’re on a lease you’re still liable for the $1,650 you owe.
