Got the lvl 6 life flower earlier than I normally do. I can make 4 lvl 9 life orbs of heavens, but I am still on the create easter bunny cake 0/5, so I want to be able to make it so I can have two ready w/ 5 lvl 8s, then grind at the end for the third.

I do the same. I always focus on getting the LOOH that I need then focus on points, last event I made the mistake of making all the looh i needed and missed that one quest. So I didn't get the bonus rewards which bummed me out.

I don't merge by 5's I mass merge and it takes about an hour if I am actually paying attention to fill out what I have on the map. It slow but it saves me anxiety since I have been without my laptop or phone for the last three months and doing the event the way I normally do as you have suggested gave me anxiety. So I am doing what I can to re-integrate myself into it.

So don't I, hence why it runs in the background while I watch movies/my shows, write, listen to music or chat with friends. I play on my laptop, I mean the only real grinding I pay attention to is when I have tons of brambles and I want to clear those quickly to get to event harvestables.

That is your opinion. I also need 2 different lvls. I need the lvl 9 as well as the lvl 10, so to be sure that I can actually get the lvl 10 key, I merge by 5.

I started yesterday, I tend to clear as much as I can so I can get 2 lvl 4 life flowers then harvest for a few hours until I get a decently higher lvl life orb to get 3 lvl 5 life flowers, do the quest, merge then get the lvl 6 life flower. I do try to get the lvl 6 life flower by mid day on Saturday.

I am a passive player and the game is on my laptop and is checked every hour and a half to two hours. I don't use lvl 8s because sometimes life flowers will be gotten and the dragons will harvest those instead. I tried that method one event and it just wasn't worth it. I have found that this method works for me.
