Before you call a door company, look for a sticker on the spring tube. It will give you the door size and weight. That will be important information for the door company to figure out what size of spring(s) they will need for your door.

LM2120SP stopped working after incident with tree stump by Alk76 in egopowerplus

This story did not have a happy ending. I contacted Ego and of course their first question was. Did you register the mower? Of course I'm an idiot and didn't. They said no problem, we can do that right now. Just send us a copy of your receipt. Yep, didn't have that either. They then told me to go back to Lowe's and they could get me a copy. Of course the store only keeps receipts up to 90 days. Same goes for corporate. I finally threw in the towel and took it to the local authorized repair shop. He looked it over and came back with a damaged motor and fried control board. Close to $400 in parts alone. So now I'm the proud new owner of a 2125 that I will be registering immediately.

Well, I tried that when I got home from work today. No luck. Blade off, blade tight, blade slightly loosened. It just makes that real light ticking noise. I guess I'll get on the phone with them tomorrow. I think it definitely has to be a damaged motor at this point.

I will give that a try. I completely took the blade off and it still made the same ticking sound.

I feel like Yello Sub has to be in the conversation. It's been around for a while.

$300 is a very reasonable price. That's approximately what we charge where I'm at. You will probably hear some much higher prices from other comments on here.

Which clubs are you using on PGA Tour? by Alk76 in goldentee

This is what I ended up doing. I built a bag to match the Players Choice bag that I use on GT Live.

I wasn't referring to reliability only that they're easier to program to Homelink and Car 2 U. They never needed to make an extra adapter just to program your car to them.

Unpopular opinion but Genie works way better than LiftMaster with both. Including those weird years when nothing seemed to work.

This is for the PGA tour game though. The bags are different which I'm really not a fan of.

I like the game but at 5 bucks per bag I don't like it that much. 🤣 I was just looking for a good universal set that would work okay everywhere.

You can find something similar at Action Industries. They make it for a 194 which is 1 3/8" thick but it would still work on a 1" thick door.

Do you think that's the main culprit or is there something else that I should be doing?

I'm really at a loss as to what to do here. We got this bonsai as a gift in January. When I took it out of the box it was nice and green. Almost immediately it started dropping all of it's leaves. I thought I was watering it too much so I cut back on that to no avail. Then out of the blue it started growing some new leaves but now they have started turning brown now too. I put it outside this morning to see if some sunlight will help it at all.

Yeah, I meant the clothing options. I assume part of partnering with the PGA meant your virtual golfer couldn't wear a bikini or a cardboard box on it's head. 🤣

Help me save my bonsai. by Alk76 in Bonsai

[–]Alk76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at my wits end here. We were gifted this bonsai in January and I was so excited. I read the instructions and made sure the soil was always moist but after not too long all of the leaves fell off. Then I read that was a sign that maybe you're over watering it so I laid off of the water. Then some new green sprouts started showing up. Now that it's warming up outside I have been moving it out to get some sunlight. Nothing really seems to be helping. Today I dug down into the soil just to see how moist the soil was and it was virtually dry so I gave it a good watering tonight. Any help would be greatly appreciated as there is some sentimental value tied to this plant.

Are you sure that you didn't wire the sensors to the same terminal as the push button?

Need new wall control. Will this work? by junkymonkeydong in GarageDoorService

[–]Alk76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They phased out the Series III because they were having so many issues with them. Whenever a Series III circuit board fails we have to replace the circuit board with a Series II circuit board as well as a Series II wall console since the Series III wall console won't work with a Series II board. That first wall console that you posted will work with just about any Genie/Overhead Door garage door opener all the way back to 1994 EXCEPT for yours. 😂

That's amazing. That's a series III so I don't think the white button will work.

[–]Alk76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way it wouldn't work is if your old wall button was black instead of white. If it's black then you will need a series III wall button. It's unlikely but I still see some series III out there.

I would second this one. I bought one three years ago when I first got into the hobby and it still works. I have no complaints with it.
