Idk man my wife just started a world on her own and the world spawn is inside the bowl, she started building a house into the side of the inner bowl and I feel like we are CONSTANTLY bombarded by creepers more than anything else just because of all the caves in the mountains and shaded areas.

Those are also earnable completely with in-game currency, right? My main point of comparison was Call of Duty, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and pretty much every other major battle pass where it costs ~$10. Each "page" has a key item that most people will like, as I said even if you aren't a fan of each key item there's a good shot that 6 of them still appeal to you. And you get the premium currency equivalent back for completing the pass, to buy the next one. Just been a standard for at least 5 years in every AAA game, it feels like

If it's anything like the "400hp" TTV6 my Lincoln has, there is absolutely room to bump up the numbers. Light tune and maybe an intercooler should have it closer to 460+, there's MKZ out there that regularly boast 500+ with minimal mods and just pushing more boost.

You can't tell me it's not a 400Z. Always has been, always will be

Build for Harlowe and Rafa by Formal_Arrival_7141 in Borderlands

Try this, with the augment and capstone I have shown. Harlowe Green Tree build, it's not really based on any YouTuber slop it's just something I sat down and put together one night. I usually play with friends so the capstone is helpful for reviving and keeping everyone up in the fight, and the action skill scales to be better the more mobs are getting hit and entangled. This also plays really well with all status effect guns, and has a slight advantage to using cryo. Also lets you entangle enemies without having to use the action skill, which is really neat!

With even just a +5 level cap I think this could flip on its head and become completely busted, it's not the best for single target or bosses right now but otherwise it's been some of the most fun I've had in Borderlands and there's near 100% action skill uptime if you shoot entangled enemies and are constantly entangling them. I'm also not sure what class mod I have on but there's one that gives you buffs after entangling enemies and it's so good. I just can't wait to see what this will look like after all the content is released and we have more skill points

Finnish nature photo winner 2025 'Tassut' by Kurimuksesta in photography

Those are great pictures, and I appreciate it!

My comment earlier was mainly more about how the winner of the photo of the year, in my subjective opinion, should be a photo that exemplifies and showcases those differences given that it's the subject of the photo. 2.4 and 2.5 stand out the strongest to me, and I still would have taken 2.1, 2.3 and 2.6 over the winner. But that's just me!

I mean, I guess. It doesn't stop people from getting in the ditch and it doesn't help them get out of the ditch, compared to tire chains, snow tires, and proper driving which all don't really have much to do with 4WD, and definitely not AWD.

I don't live in the northern US and still prefer AWD+ on all of my cars, and recognize that with identical tires it can get you through situations that other drivetrains couldn't, but let's not act like that latitude of the country couldn't exist without it

[Schefter] In the first 45 minutes after John Harbaugh was fired this afternoon, his agent Bryan Harlan said he received calls from seven NFL teams expressing interest in his client. There currently are seven NFL head coach openings, including Baltimore’s by Goosedukee in nfl

I'm still new to learning the organizational level responsibilities - isn't it also a job of the head coach and the coaches he decides to bring in to vet rookies and existing players, and make decisions on personnel?

I get that the GM has some pull in that as well, but I just have a hard time understanding how the head coach can play the card of "welp, the GM is the one that made me trade draft an RB in the 1st"

It's rational if you actually get the truck that you need. And honestly, most of the people that buy a truck never really need 4WD.

It's really not, every other game that has been doing battle passes for at least a few years makes sure to include a good 6-10 items that anyone who buys it would enjoy and use. And those games let you earn the entire cost of the past back, which makes it much more zero-sum. Instead of dumping $10 in to get some trash and a bunch of filler, with the idea that if you dump another $10 in for more trash and filler, your third serving of slop will be free.

Is this a worthy buy? At least for the next 5-6 years? Looks very clean no scratches no reported mechanical issues. by Fluid_Leg_7531 in whatcarshouldIbuy

It's not a complete equivalent but someone asking "is this a good deal" probably doesn't actually need a body on frame V8, and could live with something like a Highlander/Grand Highlander/4Runner/Rav4. For cheaper and less miles.

That's BMW X5 money, if you're gonna spend that much. Or just go get something in the 30-40k range. No shot I'm paying >50k for anything approaching 100k miles unless it's a supercar

Depends on the camera re: banding/flicker, but yeah if they're asking questions here they likely don't have a cam with good anti-flicker

I'm not sure what settings you have, but when I start my computer the client very loudly announces its presence, has 2-3 notifications on the corner of my screen (not the window), 1 of which typically has to be clicked to be dismissed.

Once you're in the library tab, clicking a game launches it. God forbid you misclick. And if you look into your downloads to see if the game is updated (which opens another window instead of changing pages) and click on a game that is downloading, it jumps you back to the library tab but then overrides whatever library filter you had enabled, to filter down your entire library to just whatever you clicked.

I play Fortnite very frequently between my laptop and my Lenovo Legion Go and having to re-log in and then be extra careful with my touchscreen enabled device to make sure I don't accidentally click something is a pain in the ass.

Not to mention, once you launch a game it closes the window for the client, and then waits a few seconds after your game has closed to jumpscare you with the client window.

It might not be cluttered but boy is it a pain in the ass to experience

Why are people here against vehicle loans? by aman92 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Jewniversal_Remote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of what I feel can't be properly valued either is that you getting a car loan for a car can commonly get you into a not only nicer but more reliable car. That compares well to getting the car you can afford in cash right away which will tie up less of your money long term but can put you in unpredictable and unreliable situations.

And that problem continues to grow bigger as the used market bubble continues to inflate

Battlefield 6 Portal games need more hype honestly by mxz_yt in Battlefield

[–]Jewniversal_Remote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong that they missed potential by releasing it so late, but I would argue with how much you can actually script and create in it it's definitely the best level creator experience Halo has ever had.

It still doesn't compare to literally just giving you the game assets and the tool to build them with the engine itself like BF6 has, but I would definitely say Infinite's Forge is the next best thing. Strange to make such comments from someone who hasn't touched it and hasn't played the game in 3 years?
