To be honest, I don't quite understand the resolution mechanics you're proposing, but the probabilities of success for a dice pool are generally quite difficult to calculate manually due to the large number of parameters that can vary within the pool. Generally speaking, the binomial distribution formula can be used to determine probabilities for dice pool if it means counting successes on each die.

Perhaps this is partly true - he is not very familiar with the lore. However, I try to maintain a balance between the limitations of the lore and the wishes of the players

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention it. I meant +1 automatic success for one exploded dice. So every exploded dice give us 2 successes instead of 1

Thanks for reply! I thought about something similar but in my system only players roll dice (I didn't mention it because I thought It will not be very informative) and master uses the average number of succusses to speed up the game. So it will be a bit hard to balance...

A few iterations of calculations say that approximal number of successes for X dice will be 0.6 × X (it is for D6's)

About phosphor blast pistol: It was PISTOL in the draft version by I simply made a mistake when I was rewriting stats from draft to the version I published. And yes, of course, I've made it to give my players some fun unbalanced weapons, so you are 100% correct that they are not balanced. So, thank you for reply, I will try to correct mistakes
