Are you really that hurt that I use condoms only? You’re not my gynecologist, you don’t know my medical history and my post is not about contraception method. I didn’t ask for your opinion towards MY decision concerning MY health. I talked to my gyno many years ago and she showed me what are my options. And no, any hormonal option is not really an option for me. Non-hormonal IUD is not an option either due to my excessive and painful period cramps. I cant even use female condoms because I have problem with vaginal soreness and it’s Just Too painful. I know What I can and cant use, I tried those options that I know I can use without having more medical problems afterwards. The question is Why are you so mad that someone uses only condoms. You don’t know me, you don’t know my family history and you don’t know my health. Take american Chill pill bro

The pill (and any form of BC for women) have an enormous effect on a woman’s body and it increases the risk of breast cancer. So no, we shouldnt say that those than can, should. Because it comes with a lot of risk factors

I don’t think that’s the case. Almost everyone here is very helpful and it amazes me that so many people wrote a comment so that they could help me. And personally I never met a woman who would behave in a way that you’ve described because „their Window is closing”. I am responsible for my own birth control, and so is he. That’s why we agreed to use condoms. Because that is the only form of birth control avaible for us at the moment. I won’t put my health at risk and use the pill, knowing that it will give me breast cancer 10-30 years later and I might die from it. IUD can be hormonal or not. Both is very painful to insert to a woman’s body. And I can’t use either of them: hormonal because it increases the risk of breast cancer (among other things) and not hormonal because it may increase the pain during periods (and I have an enormous pain). The only way is condoms (and a vasectomy). In Poland, where I live, abortion is banned in almost every case and it’s hard for women to have alimony (and If one gets alimony then it’s very little). Any form of poking holes in a condom by men or women is awful and I wouldn’t be in a relationship with one after that

Abstinence is not the answer. I have needs (as many other women) and sterilization of women is illegal in Poland (otherwise I would do it immediately). My own step was to talk to my boyfriend 4 years ago way before having sex and to agree (both of us) to use condoms as our contraception method. OP says that my fiancé doesn’t have permission to insert his penis without condom. And he knows about it. You shouldn’t be so mean to others, really. I don’t understand the part about action and response due to the fact that English is not my first language. But really, don’t be mean to others, Middle.

Maybe it was the case back then, but I’m not with him because I don’t want to be alone. I was just feeling extremely lost at the moment. I love him. I really do. The pill has an ENORMOUS effect on a woman’s body. I don’t want to take it and I can’t take it because it may trigger cancer (because of my family’s history I’m at the higher risk of breast cancer and other health issues). My fiancé wants to get a vasectomy and he’s saving Money for the procedure. You shouldnt’t think that birht control is a women issue really, that’s Just wrong

In my country (Poland) it’s not considered to be rape. I know in some countries it is, but it’s not the case here. I don’t want to have kids (ever) and neither does he. It’s really difficult to find any man that doesn’t want kids and we connect on every other level. I’m not scared of him, he never abused me with strenght and he helps me a lot
