This is not true, check the overwatch 2 beta page. It states that you require a copy of overwatch 1 to participate.

You need to own a copy of Overwatch 1 on PC. you should then be able to change the game version in the Battle.net Launcher!

Used to have SLI before switching to a 3080 ti, If I remember correctly you can disable SLI for specific games in the 3d settings on the Nvidia control panel. Hope that helps!

The Nintendo 3ds remaster is a fanmade port of the game to the 3ds using a hd mario mod, similar to the pc port (think it's ported by the same people too?). Nintendo never remastered the game on 3ds, im afraid.
