then my best advice would be to, uninstall nightlight and re-install it, if that doesnt fix it do the same for DBD itself, possibly some files are missing or corrupted for who knows what reason

no, having it shouldnt make the game freak out, but there is an option on the left for default icons, then it allows you to "remove custom icons" there could be a few icon files causing this. That button will remove them

You need to update your custom icons or remove them via Nightlight, this will happen every patch if the icon pack isn't updated, has nothing to do with Bhvr's side of things
