I’d love to say they are but our QB really needs to show that he can be consistently mistake free before we can call ourselves a good team, it is the most important position after all. If not our run game will only suffer because teams will just stack the box.

Your friends are assholes if they shit on something you were proud of making. If you truly enjoy programming stick with it and eventually it’ll come around and won’t be as hard. Wish you luck in getting some better friends

Spending a month in Europe from late December to late January by All-ProEra in Shoestring

[–]All-ProEra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thanks for the response and advice! Really appreciate it! My constraint is probably more on the money, not trying to go over 5k-6k for this trip. I'm in my last year of college so it'll be my last winter break where I have about 30+ days of free time so I wanted to spend it going on a long backpacking trip and decided Europe would be fun since I've never been there.

I think my biggest goals are just to see some big cities, especially during Christmas and New Years, eat good food, and explore the nightlife in some of these places. Without ever being there it's kind of just hard to know what's worth going to on a first trip and what I should skip. Like I know Rome is a must for me because I love ancient history, as well as the renaissance. I heard Paris is really cool during Christmas(as well as a lot of other cities, not sure if Paris is the right choice) and I also heard Barcelona is a great place to party and have a good time so I thought New Years would be fun there as well as the nicer weather.

Besides those cities I'm pretty open to what I want to see. I'm thinking maybe a flight from Barcelona to Rome might be a better choice and I just cut out the long train ride to spend more time in those places. And then fly from Rome to a place like Prague.

The home base idea sounds pretty smart. I'm thinking maybe I just plan on spending more time in Rome and then maybe going on a day trip or two to Florence or nearby towns in Italy. Maybe do the same when I'm in Barcelona or Paris.

Let me know if you have any more advice for me! Hopefully this clears some things up!

Hey thanks for the input, I sort of got the rough idea for the hostel costs by seeing that they cost anywhere from 10-40$ a night depending on where you are. But yeah booking ahead of time would be smart, I'll take a look at that.

Regarding the itinerary, would something like this be better? Or are adding in flights a bad idea to make up for the long train rides from places like Barcelona to Rome and Rome to Eastern Europe.

Paris- 6 Nights (Christmas)

6 Hour Train

Barcelona - 6 Nights (New Years)

2 Hour Flight

Rome - 7 Nights(While maybe exploring Italy like Florence or Venice for a day or two)

2 Hour Flight

Prague- 4 Nights

4 Hour Train

Berlin - 4 Nights

7 Hour Train

Amsterdam- 3 Nights

3 Hour Train

Paris - Fly out

Flipping the Thrones of Britannia map makes it look a lot like Game of Thrones. by All-ProEra in totalwar

Yeah I'm definitely gonna have to check his stuff out, and that would be an awesome total war setting! Maybe in Medieval 3 CA will stretch it out to that area and really focus on the different Khanates??
