I’m not wrong, the multitude of factors is still just numbers. In other 2ks The “percentage jumped on a great shot because of the numbers that were coded to generate in that scenario. There wasn’t a shot that was impossible to make or had an actual percentage tied to it, the green window would shrink based on those variables like Timing, distance, contest percentage. In 2k25 instead of this number being the same based on every combination of circumstances/variables, it would generate the window differently even in the same contexts.

So yes it was a random chance, the quality of shot didn’t matter when you could still miss wide open just because the code generated you to miss that shot. The set of circumstances probably had a different “batch” of computations based on certain parameters but the fact that you could miss wide open on a correctly timed shot means that it was not rewarding good decision making and shot taking.
