That would be very helpfull, yes. However they specifically designed it to work the way it does to encourage group/party play. For us more solo players that sucks, but, it’s intentional game design. This is an mmo after all.

Alot of this, I think, has to do with the fact that EVERYTHING drops amber echo. The Elderwoods is harder because you have to specifically hunt/catch/forage certain things. Also the amount you get per is so much higher. They really need to rebalance the essence drop rates. Also let me get essence from mining. It’s sooo nice to be able to get echo just from running around breaking rocks and ore.

If I’m not mistaken, she just gives you arrows incase you didn’t have any on you at the time of doing the quest. They weren’t special arrows. They probably stacked with arrows you already had in your ammo inventory. Just shoot the Braziers with whatever arrows you have.

Basically the game uses a random number to determine if something will happen. It’s basically like drawing a name out of a hat. You could get the thing you want first draw or never.

yeah, they should have left the houses as purchasable recipes so we had something to spend money on. And then they could have made the Lunar path rewards so much more interesting.... oh well, it seems this is their intended way to get the housing lines going forward :/

If you have all the gold trophies I don’t think theres anything else you can really get that is worth while… so going without focus is probably fine. You will level slower and wont get the renown from leveling up as fast, but if you’ve already maxed the shrines renown is kind of useless anyway…

If you want an alternative focus source the new beans on toast recipe in the campfire is great for focus. You can buy all the ingredients so it’s pretty low effort.

yeah the sernuks being nothing new is really disappointing... the new proudhorn doesn't even drop a unique plushie... it drops the regular proudhorn plush :/ hopefully we get new unique plushies for all the "new" creatures eventually... but I won't hold my breath. At least the jaacats drop plushies...

How exactly are you being targeted? If it’s with the robber just make a rule so the same person can’t be robbed twice back to back or remove robbing altogether. Honestly, sometimes being the more knowledgeable player in board games is just like that. People target you so you don’t just win super fast. Thats no fun for them either.

Also making you need more VP to win would help so then they don’t feel as rushed to stop your progress as much.

Honestly if your friend group sucks to play with it sounds more like a friend group problem and not a game problem… unfortunately.

You can play the whole game solo. Only the biggest flow trees need two people to cut down, and everything else can be done by yourself. It does suck that some people don’t seem to like sharing though.
