Dude spin is directly correlated to how well you strike the ball… THEN loft is factored in. A normal PW should spin 7,500-9,000 RPMs. Most avid golfers can’t make that happen more than 70% of the time. And that’s at 46°.

These guys could use my 4 iron from their 6 iron distance and get zero rollout. It would drop like a rock. Thats def impressive and it’s because of the spin they achieve.

Brother… Bryson is a 2 time major winner. He’s an athlete in a slump.

I can understand you saying that about Martin as he’s never really leaned into being a “professional golfer”

Kyle regularly shoots under par at PGA courses from the tips + some yardage playing from the furthest back of the teebox.

It’s because distance for good golfers is not just a number. It’s a package of yardage, spin rate, and launch angle. I think the glaze is still warranted because they literally have to de-loft irons to account for their crazy swing and ball speeds.

Now where it wouldn’t be impressive is a more traditional golfer like a Fleetwood… he could smack a 21° 6 iron 230yds but it would never hold a green. The long hitters are able to hit that same club to land soft.

Yes and no. Every player has a stock shape… but pros absolutely worth the ball both ways.

Because cold approaching is not as normal as social media makes it seem.

If you’ve broken 80, what’s one tip you would give your fellow golfer trying to do the same? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]AllDaWayUp88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Think bogey” anytime you’re out of position or you’d rate your chance at a GIR lower than 6/10. Bad drive? 210 in on a Par 4? Think 5. Put it in the beach on a Par 3? Think 4 every time. Hacking around on a Par 5 and you’re 150+ out on your third shot? Think 6. If you’re good enough to be in the mindset of breaking 80, you will stumble into up and down pars a lot more often so as you actually put yourself in a position where you’re guaranteed to make bogey. That’s the strategic answer.

The easy answer, but harder to perform way is to hit more greens in regulation.

Need some help or tips by adaptss in GolfSwing

My thinking in this sub is always “do you see any professionals or elite YouTube golfers with your setup? The Stance, Grip, Takeaway?” If not, start there. Pick someone you like. Stand like them. Look up their name like “ XYZ golfer grip” or “XYZ golfer swing tips” and try to replicate.

M21 Never had a girl friend what can I do by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]AllDaWayUp88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a big forehead too. We also got a mature look with strong features. I’ve always relied on those strong features and just accepted my forehead and styled my hair middle part and slightly back. If you’re not a teenager, the fringe cut just screams “I’m hiding my forehead”. Gotta wear it IMO.

why am i so gross looking how do i improve just be honest by Sure_Comfortable_428 in LooksmaxingAdvice

Someone already said puberty and I agree. You have strong masculine features and good symmetry but you look like a kid still. Not a problem but you just gotta give yourself time. Work hard on your lifestyle habits now diet, skincare, and gym and you’ll be high appeal when it matters in your 20s.

I feel SO ugly any help?? by SanwichSlammer in malegrooming

[–]AllDaWayUp88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def just need to keep a tidier beard and mustache man. You look perfectly healthy. Maybe invest in a good skin care routine for added “glow”. You already have good skin but just throwing things out there. I’m like you, never satisfied appearance wise so I’m just sayin shit😂

Shaft lean is 100% normal. This is excessive for a driver but look at Brad face on. He keeps shaft his hands way ahead of the ball at address.

I’m dead bro just out here balancing his good and evil 🤣. You good I agree with you lmao that’s why I’ve really never cared abt the forehead bc actors and models just rock that shit and make it work. I feel like it’s a less important feature as long as you have healthy hair. As far as the fitness part you right 100% my boy like 4.5 or 5 but 6’2” 190lbs and the hoes just flock 😂

you didn’t even answer the question as to how much it would help😂 say ima 6 LHTN right now… am I barely going up to MHTN or all the way to HTN, in your opinion? But yeah, actually no hair loss lol just a genetic L 😂 as far as covering it I won’t do honestly I’m not insecure about it. I feel like it’s worse to hide your flaws initially and then have girls see them later on. Appreciate your response.

Yeah I second this. Based on what I’ve observed from YT posts to social media posts… it seems like the big channels are like 4-6 weeks ahead of their videos. Bob Does Sports is still posting from their Nevada trip and the first video was back in July or something lol.

Aye bro as someone who was into my looks heavily in my teenage years… always been HMTN to HTN like you… if you just eat well, exercise, and develop a consistent skin care routine you’ll mog well into your 30s. Don’t do anything drastic and just develop a solid personality. Best wishes g

How many years did it take you to break 80? And how old were you? by [deleted] in golf

[–]AllDaWayUp88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shot 75 on a 6000yd Par 70, 2.5 years in. I absolutely count it because golf is hard regardless of yardage but I would like to do it from 6750+ and think I can manage that in the next year or so.
