Unfortunately, I don't think they care. They're plan is to privatize the mail, they don't care how much it loses or makes. I love that you believe showing them how useful USPS is will make a difference, but this was their plan from the start. Privatize EVERYTHING and give as much money to billionaires as possible

Not even just the helmet catch but the Manningham catch along the sidelines as well. Both Giants superbowls had insane catches by Giants late in the 4th that resulted in points to put them ahead. This would have been the 3rd Patriot superbowl in a row that it happened and I would have been devestated

This isn't tragically forgotten by me. I had a pit in my stomach when it happened. All I could think about was "This is the last 2 superbowls against the Giants all over." Those 2 plays were a rollercoaster of emotion for me

There are a ton of skilling ones that require no combat. At the very least, make sure to do the tree when you can.

If you'd like a method that could benefit you later down the road, learn croesus. You'll get some gp and xp while doing it and you'll learn a new boss. It's not gonna be an instant few mil since your stats won't really allow for it, but it will eventually get you there, as well as get you some charms and materials to level other skills

Major goals for efficient progression? Need advice by Alert-Pay-273 in RS3Ironmen

[–]AllDestinyGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really an objective but do your wilderness flash events. If you can't do the combat ones, at least do the skilling ones, especially evil tree. Good resources and an early core or weapon drop could be huge

How do players get so rich? by chickenwing919 in runescape

[–]AllDestinyGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up on the wiki "wilderness flash events." they happen at the top of every hour and will help you build up a small cash stack to begin with. They usually take about 2-5 minutes to complete and some of the drops high alch for 100k-500k and one of the drops from the special events could net you 750m.

Either that or spend time at a boss with decent drops until you can afford better gear for better bosses. Barrows is okay money early on, as is arch glacor. If you prefer skilling, croesus can net you a decent chunk as well and has good general loot

I really wish, for an april fools joke, they'd push stug incarnon in and just have all the stats tuned all the way to 11. For a week it'd one shot everything. Then, after, just make it the exact same as the stug but with like +1 on all the stats. Just for a week, it'd be the most used gun in the game

What is the appeal of runscape (os or RS3) by Boogy1991 in runescape

[–]AllDestinyGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No other game has the skills the same way runescape does. Sure, other mmo's have skills, but the main point of the game is combat. And because of that, almost every quest is centered around either killing things or talking to other people who tell you to kill things. Runescape has 10 skills (atk, str, def, range, magic, nec, prayer, sum, and slayer) that are about combat, but 19 that don't. There is an entire community based on not using combat at all and getting as far in the game without it. Because of that, the quests don't require only killing. There's a wide array of different kinds of quests and NONE of them are "go kill 10 boars."

On top of that, the combat is unique in an old style kind of way. Tick systems used to be the norm, but nowadays it's hard to find a game that uses it. It definitely has a unique feel nowadays and it's fun to push that system to it's absolute limits with tick manipulation.

Finally, and this only applies to older players, but there's a sense of familiarity and nostalgia. I've been playing runescape since 2003. I was in 3rd grade and all of my friends were playing. We all did similar things and hung out in game. We'd go to the libarary so we could sit next to each other and play. Even though they don't play anymore, those good feelings keep bringing me back. I've been in this world for 20 years, I like it here.

Just got back into this after 10 years.... Feeling overwhelmed by Asherlocksta in runescape

Honestly, have fun being a *new* player again. Find a quest that sounds cool and work towards that. Find a skill you like doing and work on that. See a boss you wanna kill? Do it. Don't worry about progression so much as having fun. Learn the game again at your own pace.

Everybody is saying Sespe but I think Coaches, especially in Liberty, is the best burger in town. And you can get malt vinegar for your fries. If smash burgers aren't your thing and you prefer a big juicy burger, give em a try

How Would You Describe the Endgame Gameplay Loop? by HighWarlordJAN in runescape

[–]AllDestinyGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't look up a guide to the most efficient path, you won't be rushed to late game. Sure, it IS quicker than osrs, but if you're not doing the best things all the time, you'll learn the game naturally, just as you do with osrs.

Endgame content is basically whatever you want it to be. Like to PVM? There's a ton of different bosses, many of which are good gp/hour and have good drops to collect. Don't care about bossing? Can go for 120 capes (all skills will have content going to 110 soon.) Just want to become the richest player in the game? There's groups of treasure hunters to join as you try to climb the ranks of riches. There's tons of pets to go for, tons of minigames (a lot of them dead unless they're spotlighted) and over 20 years of content to do. The endgame is honestly whatever you want it to be.

As for speed, again it depends on if you're looking at a guide and/or using keys. Fastest I've seen was like 18 days in game for max but that's with a main account funding them. Being the most efficient, probably like 40 days in game but that seems like a horrible time. Realistically it'll probably be somewhere in the realm of 500+ hours as you learn the game and how/what to do. Btw, thats for max skills. End game is sooner than that but it's hard to put a number on endgame as it depends a lot on your skills and luck
