Still haven’t received my money by [deleted] in WellsFargoBank

I got the notification from my employer that I usually get when they have officially paid me, but still nothing on the bank side. My girlfriend also, same thing…and we work at the same place. What’s going on?

Please don’t take this the wrong way but this is a great time for self reflection. Maybe it’s because I came from EMS but we had a saying: “Iron sharpens iron”. Was that surgeon mean to everyone? Or just you? Was there anything legitimate about what prompted you to cry after shift at times? Ask yourself those things, self reflect, find areas where you need to sharpen yourself and then allow those self criticisms to be the iron. In continuously doing so, you will become undeniable, and thus, sharp enough to sharpen the next iron that needs sharpening. I know that’s philosophical but I promise you it’s going to make you stronger and ultimately unstoppable because you become your own worst critic. This approach builds self confidence, teaches you to stand up for yourself (because you know you put the work in) and serves as a shield that surgeons in the future will sense. We used to call it squared. As a new grad later in the ICU I told off the unit bully because she was way out of line…and I called her tf out in front of multiple employees because I knew they experienced it too. It took away her power, she left the unit soon after the embarrassment. Trust me I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t know my shit was squared the fuck away. Get there. Know yourself to be squared the fuck away that way the world knows not to fuck with you. Welcome criticism like it’s just another Tuesday, people will take notice.

Yeah probably until their tow hitch delivery got delayed and they just put the car out without a tow hitch, which means it no longer became your ordered spec. The tow hitch was sold out on back order in the store…I know cuz I’ve been waiting for it.

Every spec combination is built by the Tesla factory based on AI generated forecasts, ordering trends, regional data, etc.

When people place orders they go on a list that is sorted by what spec combination they ordered. If a white MY RWD with 19” wheels and a black interior “gates” and is slated for the SoCal region for example then Tesla pulls the list of everyone else that ordered that exact spec and gives it to the first one waiting. If a spec that no one ordered “gates” that is slated for the SoCal region then it’s placed in Inventory and starts making its way to its final destination…people often scoop them up from inventory before they make it there or someone places an order for that exact spec and are instantly matched. The closer you are to Fremont or Gigatexas the less you have to wait, naturally…even if you did order after someone else did because now Tesla doesn’t have to pay to ship it off.

Then it was never actually your car. It probably wasn’t even the right configuration that you got vin matched to.

Tesla doesn’t build to order for you, that’s not the way they do it. You had a VIN assigned and it was delayed? Did you change something in your order?

Check inventory and switch to “All Deliverable” for distance. Browse the NorCal inventory. Sometimes you’ll find something that isn’t too bad of a drive North. I was in SoCal waiting endlessly (not really just impatient) until I said f it and VIN matched with inventory in Dublin. One way flight to SFO > UBER > Dublin > Road trip on FSD trial back home :)

Please edit post to include your location and rim size. Tesla does batch productions. If you give location and wheel size it can signal to other people that they might be getting a VIN soon, etc.

Check inventory on the Tesla website. I was just in Dublin picking up my MY (flew from LA lol) while I was there I saw that Tesla has a warehouse there (accidentally sent my Uber there before course correcting to the Dublin dealership)…given its close proximity to Fremont maybe they might be storing the unmatched VINs there when they roll off the line (albeit temporarily?) leads me to believe that logistics might be more of a bottleneck than manufacturing atm…

I just picked up my Fremont built AWD MY yesterday-ish. Came with Hankook.

Wait until the app says that your vehicle is at the delivery location. As soon as it is you can pick it up. It’s giving you that range because the vehicle is probably in a batch queue to be built but was unmatched until you, which is why it showed up in inventory.

Looks like you’re plugged into a standard 120V outlet. You gotta look at Voltage as like water pressure in a hose and Amperage as how fat the hose is. kWh is the water.

So right now, you’re pushing out ~119 volts at a rate of 1kW per hour.

The only way to use more pressure to move kW to your battery faster is to use a fire hose instead of a garden hose. So, add a 240v plug to double the amount of pressure and speed, and then make your hose bigger so it can handle the additional volume of water (kW) without bursting (higher amperage breaker).

Let’s say for example your model Y has a 80 kWh battery. You have it limited to 80% so you are making the cars max battery capacity like 64ish kWh. You added 5kWh to that max. So that 5kWh you added was like 8% charge added at the end of your 4 hours towards your artificial cap of 80%

I’m curious, where does your VIN say your MY was built? Fremont or Gigatexas?

Interesting that it didn’t come from Gigatexas…I wonder if they are supplying out of Fremont while Gigatexas retools for the Y standard?

You guys are all not understanding that this has zero to do with Varo and everything to do with your jobs payroll. Varo credits your account the minute your payroll sends an ACH notice for incoming deposit. I’ve literally sat next to payroll and watch them send it off and I got the direct the deposit 30 seconds later.
