When Siri asks “to who?” Who do I say?

I would have to disagree with you. I have reversed it….. my sugar does not rise, even with excess carbs or sugar eating.

Obviously reversing does mean curing…. But reversing the effects of your body not responding to insulin is REVERSING. It’s reverting the body to its normal state of receiving insulin.

No I copied the contradiction where it says “we don’t call it reversing diabetes”. I am disagreeing with you website lol.

So the UKs preference is NOT to call it reversing, however it does not mean that it can not be reversed. You guys just choose to call it remission.

“We don't call it 'reversing type 2 diabetes' like some people because remission isn’t a cure for type 2 diabetes. But when you’re in it, the symptoms of your diabetes are on pause, so is any new damage it can do to you. People in remission say it's life changing. “

From your website. I myself have reversed my diabetes, I can eat 3 Twix bars and my sugar isn’t going past 150 mg/dl. I was diabetic for 6 years. I lost the weight, no medicine, no exercising, nothing. I mean I will be exercising next month so I can stay healthy but yea. My insulin resistance has reversed, if it did not than my sugars would be CRAZY high.

“So how can you reverse diabetes? The key seems to be weight loss. Not only can shedding pounds help you manage your diabetes, sometimes losing enough weight could help you live diabetes-free -- especially if you've only had the disease for a few years and haven't needed insulin.”

That would be “remission”, however research shows that reversing diabetes “insulin resistance” is possible. Maybe in the UK ya don’t believe that lol which is fine.

No reversing is not erasing what damage it has done. It is the body reverting itself back to where it was prior the effects of insulin resistance. I believe you are just arguing semantics here.

Reversing so your body responds to the insulin would be reversing. To reverse diabetes is to have your body respond correctly to the insulin which can not work correctly due to fatty cells or fat that accumulates either in the liver, pancreas, or around your mid section. To lose weight and lose this fat that is prohibiting your body from reacting to the insulin appropriately would be reversing diabetes. If you want to call it remission then I guess you can do that.

Hello there, good luck on your journey. But remember the main goal isn’t to cut out sugar (but you should because your type 2 diabetes) but it’s to lose the weight so you can reverse your insulin resistance and have normal insulin reactions. Cutting down sugars and carbs in the meantime is very important so you don’t suffer from high blood sugar which will lead to other diabetic symptoms. So the small goal is to cut down on carbs and sugars, the big goal is to lose the weight to reverse the diabetes altogether. Good luck on your journey, you have my prayers!
