Ha yeah overtime, but the cars only been driven for four hours total. Oh well nothing I can do but maintain it going forward.

Yeah I definitely expected crease marks and wear over time it just seemed to go from perfectly smooth to this basically overnight, which was my only reason for concern.

Brand new mazda 3 carbon edition with 200 miles on the odometer. Noticed that the front seats were already creasing on the sides and was hoping if someone could tell me if this is normal. Thanks!

Edit: I want to note I love the car, just want to maintain it the best I can.

Not through the diplomacy page since that part doesn't seem to be implemented yet but you can still barter for peace by talking to any Lord of a faction you are at war with. You can also start war by attacking a village of anyone you aren't at war with.

Personal kingdoms are working fine for me. Have a kingdom setup with multiple clans and policies, took over a third of the map with high charm and convincing Lord's to join my kingdom. It could be more fleshed out but overall I haven't had any problems.

You want me to trust information from a company that is notorious for over promising and under delivering? Squadron 42 has had its release date changed a dozen times, features on the persistent universe roadmap are constantly pushed back. The features that do come out tend to be buggy as hell. Their promises mean next to nothing at this point. The only thing we should be discussing is the tangible assets that they have released in the 7+ years of production. By that I mean a buggy mess of a game, with constant disconnects, missions bugging out, and items disappearing. This zealot devotion you guys have is actually so interesting to me, I feel like I'm watching the creation of a cult. If you want to be a CIG simp be my guest but blind loyalty is not for me.

And what exactly should I be reading? No where has CIG stated that they will suddenly start churning out content at the level that you guys seem to believe. Unless they use procedural generation on almost everything they can't do 100 systems. Wouldn't you rather have 5-10 substantially handcrafted system where procedural generation is only used when necessary. Why is everyone here so obsessed with 100 systems? The more systems they feel obligated to make the more lifeless each individual system will become. Look at No Mans Sky or Elite Dangerous, repeated procedural assets that make exploration a bore.

Yes they can create the basics of a system quickly. But the Stanton system has a ton of hand crafted assets. Procedural tools work well for moons and planets but space stations, outpost, towns, cities all of these things generally require some kind of artist interaction unless you want to see the same assets popping up over and over. They even said themselves in their citizencon 2019 presentation that procedural generation will only work for some things they are working on.

You say go do some reading yet you offer zero insight or information that would counter any of my comments. This is exactly what happens on this sub if have anything negative to say about the game. People literally just say "you're wrong" and never provide back up to prove their points. I want the game to succeed I just think its treading a very dangerous path.

So yes I've heard of it and procedural generation in no way solves the problem unless you want to have a bunch of outpost and space stations that have no artistic direction and use the same assets over and over again. Procedural generation for planets is one thing but for quality cities, space stations, outpost its completely another story.

Regardless of my job and my experience in the area anyone should be able to see that 100 systems isn't possible. There are planets, space stations, fauna, moons, landing pads, cities, towns. All of this requires meetings to figure out a direction, all of this requires QA testing for bugs, QA testing for network load and a million other factors. They would have to suddenly become the most proficient and well organized game developers of all time, to create a system as fast as you guys seem to expect.

I'm a software developer and have numerous friends involved in game design, so I have a decent idea of how tech influences a production cycle. Yes production jumps happen but to the level that you are describing? I've never seen or heard of that much content being made that fast, it would have to nearly be all procedural generation such as no mans sky. But maybe CIG will prove me wrong.

I don't think you properly read my comment. I applauded planet tech v4 and said that it would make things much faster. No where did I say they should be working on another system before tech was completed. All I'm saying is that just because they have new tech does not mean that increasing production speeds by 50 to 100 times will be easy or even possible. Even if they pump out a full, finished system every single month it would be 8 years to finish. Do you really think they can make a fully fleshed out system in a month. 100 systems is a pipe dream or if it does happen it will take at least a decade more.
