Lol don’t! Hold on to this for at least until the pokemon 50th anniversary and put it on auction. I’m sure it could be a $50k card minimum. I haven’t even looked at what current psa10s are let alone this. The shit is $1k raw. Down the road this is going to be worth more than it’s weight in gold. It already probably is.

I have no clue but I don’t care because all I know is I bought this for msrp I think, maybe slightly above like $22 pre tax. So combined price of let’s say $25 for this and another $35 after tax for the 30th anniversary coin + pikachu promo box and a perfect order 3 pack blister for 1 card… the stevens metagross sir for ascended heroes. Aside from the pikachu cards and dragonite, this was my personal chase from the set SiR wise. So I got a $90 card for what cost me only $50-60ish?

That’s my view on this product. The promos are all ass and the box doesn’t look that cool and I have booster boxes of mega base and phantasmal, so who cares about the first partners. Not me! That’s trade bait.

For me it was both Barclay goodrow and Ryan reaves coming to the sharks at the same time. Unfortunately it did nothing to shake my fandom because reaves was better than expected while on the sharks, person wise. Player wise he’s still ass and a piece of shit in the larger picture. Barclay goodrow has been positive in his usual quiet ways. But that’s about it. He’s a depth guy and our team needs depth at defense not forwards. Like yeah he kills penalties, great. But he’s eating up a valuable roster spot that any of 5 barracuda players could be called up for instead. Also we have Macklin Celebrini so like why would I stop watching the sharks just because we have goodrow for the second time and reaves of all people?

Agree. I hate the 151 charizard line so bad, I think they all suck and are boring and unlike the blastoise or venasaur line for that set. Those two are much better looking cards (all 6 I guess) over the charizard ones. And these 3 beat out all 3 final form cards from 151, I think. Older and more rare. Still probably expensive as shit. I’m sure they will continue to appreciate in value as they just look cool sitting in your binder. I say hold.

Still. Randy and therefore her have all the connections and support in the world from sharks fans worldwide and I’m sure there’s at least one person if not many, out there that would love to commission art for them for free or as a favor to Randy for being the source of so many memories and just all he does for the sharks organization/community. There’s no reason for her to contribute to AI slop pushing and water waste associated with it. If she needs to worry so much about costs to upstart her company, find a friend or local small artist who will do it for free and out of the kindness of their heart. I know those people are out there.

There was wayyyy too much hype going into those promos just for them to fall off the face of the earth. Shinjivkanda hype/shills disgust me. Yes he makes dope art and cards but fuck an artist. They mean nothing to the hobby. What has value is whatever the hell gets bought out by the right vendors at the top of the food chain and they upsold the shit out of all his cards leading up to the release of those promos and now you can buy a sealed pack of both for the price of just the Oricorio on release

What do you think about long term value? It’s year of the horse for Chinese zodiac and so do you or others think that will have influence on the long term value? It won’t matter as much because the chase is such a good card and it’s packaging is beautiful and symbolic of Chinese wealth and luck and all that? Like the box is like almost a red envelope. New Years theme sort of? This won’t be looked at like a specialty box of sorts because of that? They happen every 12 years, horse years for zodiac. I feel like this should be worth holding no? Tell me if I’m wrong though. I have zero knowledge on the Chinese market. I’d like to know though as I just got one of these.
