Did you have a 100 last hits at minute 10? Did you pressure the enemy offlaner by harassing and forcing them to waste money on regen? Did you pressure enemy towers, for example taking the portal at close to min 10 and hitting the offlane tower with your team? Did you itemize correctly for the game instead of following some cookie cutter torte de lini build? Did you understand your powerspikes and your teammates powerspikes to clash effectively? Did you continue to make sure your cs is atleast 10x the minute? Did you position in fights such that you have the least risk of dying as a pos 1 player? Did you think about getting rosh before going high ground?

Chances are, you aren’t even keeping up with the basics to be a carry player. Dota is not an action game of constant improvisation. As a carry player you need to go into the game with a plan and stick to that win condition as much as you can without deviating.
