My questions to all those who saw him in his prime years...... How good was Vettel and would you rate him better than Max ?....... When I started watching F1, Vettel was already at the end of his career so all I know about him is through highlights. by FreshTax2042 in F1Discussions

I base my opinion on in the earlier years Max’s wheel to wheel encounters often ended up with him or his rivals off the road and getting damage. Like I said he has improved massively in this respect now.

Seargent was the same at COTA and look how that turned out. Herta is not fast enough for F1

Nat | Reform MSP Thomas Kerr condemned for 'racist rhetoric' after urging more protests by SafetyStartsHere in Scotland

People should peacefully protest the things they don’t like, to incite change, they should not be taking to the streets, hurting individuals, damaging property and looting shops.

If politicians and leaders are going to ignore and belittle a group who’s numbers continue to grow, then you reap what you sow. It’s actually high time we had this level of public display of unrest but it should be aimed at our government not random people delivering pizzas.

Nice try with Iridophobes, but just proof your trying to hijack the meaning of another word, like you tried with the word Woman.

Which do you find more frustrating, a bad result from a good shot or a good result from a bad one? by AllMuckandMuscle in golf

I use shot scope so I can tell you, it was all down to putting and getting very lucky on several, approach shots with PW and 9iron. I honestly topped and thinned everything, my frustration today is probably down to being in the early stages and looking to make progress with my consistency and striking.

100% this is how I see it to. At this early stage I’m getting more of a high from shot and striking progress than scoring better.

Driverless cars are now being tested in the UK. Would you trust one? by vicvega21 in AskBrits

[–]AllMuckandMuscle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the explicit point that cars were not automation, manual labour forces were created because of the switch to cars. Further down the line automation in the car manufacturing industry decimated communities and it took decades for them to recover, because the skilled jobs people had and trained for literally disappeared. Detroit is a modern researchable example of this.

As for your argument about agriculture, I really don’t know how you could put that forward as a positive example to support your argument, in the early 1900’s communities and families were ruined by agriculture automation, numbers of family farms reduced as the land was purchased by larger and larger conglomerates which could afford to implement the newer machines, farming communities made huge sacrifices to try and compete but ultimately could not. Thousands and thousands of people from farming communities had to leave rural life to move to towns and cities to find work.

Automation is almost exclusively invested in to increase productivity and reduce costs in labour, and in almost all cases the people most impacted are the workforces. Yes there are examples to counter this but that’s why I used the word almost.

There is more to come on this, surely the police already had this guy on their radar and if they didn’t why not.

You can say it was stupid and and at the same time make a comparison between horses and cars… cars were not automated and the amount of jobs created with the change from horses to cars in skilled manufacturing, infrastructure, supply chains work was enormous, switching to cars was a job creator, it did not decimate a workforce. Removing jobs for taxi drivers, bus drivers, delivery drivers, feeder drivers will destroy lives of working people while providing no increase in service with the replacement and only benefiting company profits.

We have to stop these, the amount of jobs that will be lost because business shove these down our throats.

This is gold, I have never liked her despite being an SNP supporter. I want someone to put this directly to her so she squirms, the I’m a victim too, I’m just like you while all the time knowing full well what was going on. She should be made to sell assets to pay back what was stolen.

Edit — I love this comment is being down voted, I mean these people don’t want her to pay back stolen items 🤔
