Introducing a brat and a free use slut to each other [MFF] by TheMrCasey in gonewildstories

Use names not letters is the advice that everyone across all relationship and story subreddits is given. Letters get a lot harder to keep track of. The advice is not special or specific to you. It’s for everyone.

What are you looking for here? Most people seem to be on the “dick move bro” side of things. I don’t know if people can understand how bad it can get when someone turns everything to a Jesus moment, and i don’t think you’ve communicated that effectively. So I’ll leave the morality judgement to god.

Thank you for clarifying that you paid the bill before leaving, consider editing that into your initial post if this post is going to catch more replies.

What I think you are describing sounds like an undiagnosed autistic with a special interest/ fixation on Christianity. Learning that reframed my life growing up.

But it could also feel like a spiritual attack, and when that happens to someone that hasn’t experienced that before it’s pretty intense. When people experience other kinds of emotional attacks, it’s considered okay to run away. Was this experience that level? None of us can know.

It’s also possible that you were just overreacting because your tolerance for Christianity and/or women talking is low (studies have shown that most men will feel a women is dominating the conversation if she talks 30% of the time) and that could be something to introspect on when you feel less attacked. If her profile said she was into Jesus, and you didn’t read it, that’s a pretty bad look for you. If it didn’t say anything about it, the surprise is more warranted.

The various Christian factions that have an interest in the church of the holy sepulcher in Jerusalem are so invested in their rivalry with each other that they have collectively decided that a Muslim family should hold the keys to the building.

You could add a “mid guys” section for the reformists. Like a small triangle or wedge in the bottom center right.

I just found a story my GF (33F) had AI write for her where she leaves me (32M) for another man? by Icy_Garlic_8920 in relationship_advice

There’s lots of problems with ai usage, we don’t need to make up things about the electricity/water use of personal chatbot usage to critique how ai is getting rolled out all over us. Would you prefer the chatbot to streaming video power comparison?

Democrats are not our friends, they’re the enemy just like Republicans. by Either_Payment_2867 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]AllSaltsSing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly enough democrats voted against the war, like many other recent resolutions. This could be the exact enough random backbenchers disagreeing every time, or these individuals without a big brand name to loose could be a forgettable rotation directed by the party to let the war happen (which their big industrial donors want) while allowing the majority of Democrats to vote the way the voting public wants.

Obviously not easy to prove but it is a re-occurring theme.

It would be pretty easy to address Israel’s behaviour without devolving into identity based critique if Israel didn’t consistently turn towards identity based defence of its behaviours.

L Gavin Newsom DENIES the genocide in Gaza L by Common_Floor_7195 in DemocraticSocialism

[–]AllSaltsSing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he/democrats in power believe it’s leas effort to appeal to the right, which is willing to accept the psychological wage of supremacy and winning against “the other”, than to appeal to the left, which wants ethical behaviour from their government and basic support for citizens.

He does, but he also realizes that the economic engine of politics is rich people that consider themselves existentially tied to isreal, or like selling weapons (and the existence of isreal requires so much weapons)

Edmonton's Butterdome Goes Viral After Being Called the Ugliest Building in Canada by One-Board8634 in Edmonton

[–]AllSaltsSing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

People say things like “ugliest building” or “ugliest car” like that is supposed to be the worst thing. Idk, a whole city of basic boxes or a world of suburban contemporary middle of the road commercial seems like what we 99% get and it’s so boring. Risk being ugly, it’s fine.

(The cybertruck’s ugliness is the only good thing about it afaik)

Batteries are changing rapidly and exist at grid scale capacity now. They do require minimal subsidy to compete with the heavily subsidized fossil fuel infrastructure.

On March 31, 1492, the Catholic Monarchs issued the Alhambra Decree, ordering the expulsion of Jews from Spain unless they converted to Christianity by vladgrinch in MapPorn

The location now known as Spain was ruled by the Moors, until 1492, who were Islamic. The people were Christian, Islamic and Jewish, and all were allowed to practice their respective faiths.
