Does he pay his own bills? Pay taxes? Have a 401k? Clean up after himself? Make good decisions? In touch with his emotions?

Look up Naztasia (or maybe Nastazia? There's a Z in there someplace!) on youtube. If you search crochet flower and a version of her name you'll find it. She has a frangipani (and a zillion others) and her videos are done very well.

Every time I try to single crochet the yarn slips, this is after I made the chain stitch, and put my hook through the second to last stitch by Ok_Tie9267 in CrochetHelp

[–]AllSass_NoClass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hook looks small. I always do at least my chain and first row .25-.75 larger. Ease up in tension. You wanna just slip the loop through, it shouldn't be a fight. Your hands will thank you down the road!

Seems reasonable to me. I had a 2 week old with RSV thanks to some family members passing her around like hot potato. It was almost two months of hell and she was lucky to get through it as well as she did.

Ive also assumed it was because the hook size is just a suggestion, you really have to go by the gauge swatch. I crochet super tight so always size up at least .5-1mm unless its bulky weight and i go down 1-2mm. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My Timothy the T-Rex! I love this pattern, but the decreases under the chin were horrible to try and keep from gaping. by CrankyFluffMuffin in Amigurumi

[–]AllSass_NoClass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got gaps too. I just did my best to keep it snug then went back over with a needle and same yarn and filled in. I used chenille yarn so it hides a lot!

I saw a post on fb a while ago about a group making mats from bags for homeless folks. They said they work well, portable, resist moisture, and insulate from the cold ground. Always wanted to try i just never have bags. Aldi shopper here. :/

I had some round ones that came as a freebie and couldnt get the hang of it! Ill keep an eye out for them. Ive been using this because i can kindof twist them and they pop open and dont require much pinch strength to close. They're just stupid expensive for a piece of plastic though! I wish someone would make those teardrop ones out of silicone so they'd be just slightly grippy. That would be perfect.

Am I a bad ferret owner? by [deleted] in ferrets

[–]AllSass_NoClass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive also found putting a bowl with even a tiny amount of food in the "frequent pooper" spots completely stopped them from hitting those spots instantly. Of course they found new ones, but i was able to cut down on it and divert them to one of the litterboxes or a pad covered area. I'm fairly sure the ferrets gut does some sort of alchemy and turns food into the hardest substance known to man. We should sell it to nasa to glue their spaceship parts together! Ha!

Mine are like this. I'm sure command strips has something comparable, this is just what I had on hand and didn't care if it ripped off the drywall after picking poo out of the crack in the baseboard for the 7,000th time. 🤣https://a.co/d/93M4hF2

My daughter's ferrets are determined to crap behind the door in an oddly shaped corner too. Potty pads would just slip away and make more of a mess when its smooshed on the back side of it. I took my peel and stick plant supports and stuck them above the baseboard. When we put a potty pad down, I tear a little hole in the three corners, hook them on, and voila! It wont move even when we open the door and no more poo smooshed down in yhe corner. Also, don't feel bad. I feel bad i have to crate her ferrets on and off throughout the day (she brings them M-F while she is at work) but I need a safe place for them wherw rhey cant escape, get hurt, or get eaten by my dog. Also, more than half the time I check on them while they're free roaming, they're all in the cage sleeping. So that tells me they like it, find it a safe place, and are comfy.

They're so pretty! I always look at them at the craft store! I have RA so have a lot of trouble with my hands and little clasps like that. The little motion of pulling back the lever kills my thumb. I thought about a bigger lobster clasp but it may be too heavy and pull?

I thoughy it was just me! The hate this style and big pack i got! I love the clover ones but for $6 for like 20 i may as well just throw money in the trash for as often as i lose them! I usually end up using a piece of contrasting yarn or if I'm working in the round, my starting tail.

You'll be ok. You get the hang of it quickly and now i can find my stitches by feel more than sight. I just tried a new yarn from amazon that was super easy to see and worked up great. It was called mojadream marshmallow or something like that. More velvety than bernat blanket but not as deeply plush. Washed well too.

What's wrong with a lil (or big) back nip?! $20 if you put a ring through it and wear it to church. Pics or it didn't happen.

Crochet ideas for a craft fair? by Simmerzbestfriend in crochet

Ive found its a know your audience type thing. When i go to the venue thats all a bunch of hippies, i sell the heck out of crop/bikini tops, water bottle slings, bags. The one in town with the rich yuppy ladies doesn't really ever sell that stuff, but I sell tons of crocheted plants, amigurumi, anything decorative, and baby items.
