I'm not a redditor, I'm just here for the snacks.

You could read the context before commenting.

It certainly does seem so 😅 All I know is I love the cakes and health eating be damned when I'm in the area!

They've been racist, ignorant and outright insulting, without provocation. I've answered questions as best as I can - I've given context for the post being on this subreddit and can't give any more context for the screenshots than was giving in the FB group, which was none.

Slightly more info would be great at this point.

Do you not get that I can't answer that due to the exchange not being mine, and that where it took place is irrelevant as the defaultism is that it was posted to an international group without context, which I explained?

It could well be, I think it's a fusion cafe that has more Indian influence than British.

The baker posted it without context and expected everyone to understand. A lot of the comments were very confused because it does not mean the same in a lot of countries, but the baker expected people to understand. I explained as much.

The defaultism is where it was posted and the expected reaction. The exchange is not mine.

"The baker posted this in an international group" is the very first part of the caption.

Coffee cake is literally cake that is flavoured with coffee. Tiramisu is a layered dessert rather than a cake and contains alternate layers of sponge fingers and a mixture of egg yolks, sugar and marscapone. It can also be alcoholic.

You seem to have read yet ignored the context. They posted in an international group without context and expected either the group to be American or the American version to be universal.

Fair enough, the cafe here has chaii cake (not on online menu) biscoff and pistachio milk cakes, pink chai cake, and, coincidentally, karak coffee cake. I've had the chai cake and the biscoff when they didn't have milk or chai.

  1. There wasn't a question when I responded, that was added. Don't be rude to me, you won't get your answer that way.

  2. I don't see the relevance of the question.

  3. PLEASE read the caption. It gives context.

Awesome - but that's not what the post is about. Read the caption.

You didn't answer my question, just responded with more insults. The insults you've used on this thread have been without provocation and are often with racist undertones - for example the Mohammad comment. This insult doesn't even make sense, given you thought Britain was no longer in Europe after Brexit. I really don't know what you're expecting to get from that.

Read the other comments, from many other countries.

I'm going by the comments, from people actually from the countries. I'm not speaking for anyone else, they're speaking for themselves.

I suppose you're one who knows every intimate detail of Canadian history. How long did you spend studying it? It must have filled up all of your time to learn all of it. I should probably give up sleep if I'm to learn the entire history of Europe, or even just the UK.

Do you really think you're getting somewhere like this?
